  2. yes i bleeded the line and fitted the new ones on i then tested them out when i was completed and they leaked from the nuts where they meed at the caliper/line.. which is what i touched all that needs to be done is bolted in
  3. the problem is photos really cant explain the problem because all i can show is a brake line going into the caliper!! im just trying to see if people may know whats wrong with the line because i was told a staight transfer of lines should be fine and just bolt it in i did exactly that and the fluids squirting everywhere and the problem is my car isn't movable!! do you reckon RAA would have a clue what it could be?
  4. nahh the brake pads were in does the hole from the brake hose (the end nipple bit) need to be alligned with the nuts hole through it so the fluid flows through it?

Hey guys, tried posting this Sunday but wasnt working on the forums the cars been off the road for a few days and i need help with getting it back on i was selling my non-turbo calipers and i needed to put the turbo ones on so i unbolted the non-turbo ones and bleeded the lines i then bolted the new brake lines up to it and started the car whilst pumping the brake but the brake fluid had gone everywhere i bolted them on tight, so does anyone have a clue to what could or may have gone wrong cheers
  6. Hey guys, I need to remove my brake calipers due to a guy wanting to purchase them! I know to remove the caliper i need to remove the 2 rear bolts.. But to put the new turbo brakes on do i need to buy a brake bleed kit? Is it a hard job to do? cheers
  7. cheers man but it should be finee cause im just going to buy some!! i was just wondering does anyone have a r33 series 2 reo bar i can borrow for a day? also if anyone has these parts there willing to sell: R33 boost solenoid, R33 carbon canister.. let me know im interested in purchasing them cheers
  8. yee thats what im going to do nah engines stock besides pod, front mount(Didn't require any cutting of the reo bar).. the pods has a metal braket which prevents it from moving.. the exhaust is still the same off the non turbo one.. so isn't too loud.. thankss man

Hi guys, I need to go to regency soon to comply my car with the new engine i just need to confirm a few things before going firstly the owner before me cut the original springs and i obviously need to purchase some new ones.. I don't have the money to splurge out on coilovers but i just want a pair which will comply/pass regency and are on the border of legal!! Does anyone know which springs would do so? I have a sports steering wheel which is ADR approved and has a sticker on the door pillar which confirm this.. Would this still be illegal? i also have a a nismo gear knob but ive put the shifting sticker on the cigarette tray facia.. are fold out dvd players illegal even if there hooked up to the handbrake? thanks
  11. hey guys got the car checked out on the weekend for defects and problems... The car had a leak when the new engine was installed and apparently to the mechanic i have a powersteering high pressure hose leak.. Would this be a hard task to change over the hose? Also i have a rocket cover leak and my aircon compressor ir leaking!! What or who do you guys reckon i should do/see to fix these? Can any of these be done by myself to save some money (Obviously besides the aircon problem). cheers

  13. nahh engines only done 100k's would a gasket leak make a huge power difference which is making me think!!

  15. hey guys a couple of weeks ago my car had a new engine put into it.. it was an rb25det.. the mechanic Adrian at Bitsus Customs had notified me that my turbo whistling may be the gasket which is leaking.. me and my brother have noticed over the last 2 weeks it has dropped in power (more of the kick when the turbo kicks in).. do you guys reckon it would be a gasket or something else? Also would it cause a major power drop? cheers

  18. Hey guys finally got the turbo conversion done.. A huge thanks to Bitsus Customs (Adrian) and Mitch for the work they did on it.. But i have a question which has different answers from everyone i ask. One being the front has a series 2 front bar. But due to my accident my right side got hit... I left the left fender with the bar and it worked out well i asked one company and one panel beater (Who owns a 33) and he told me that the series 1 and 2 fenders are the same but then i asked people on here and they told me that it wont fit i need a series 1! does someone know this answer and can confirm these answers? also due to the accident my left indicators plug has been taken out with the smashed indicators is there a repalacement plug you can buy to repair this? because the fast indicator sound and flicking is pissing me off when i drive cheers
  19. thought so someone at a particular japanese parts store had told me that there the same and when i put the bonnet on my series 1 guard it had a normal size gap. But after putting the series 2 guard on the other side the gap was very minimal. cheers anyways guys

Hey guys At the moment im trying to piece everything together to get my car back on the road I just have a few questions regarding a few things i need to do or want to do First being is it possible for me to put a series 2 grill on a series 1 set of lights? Second is how the hell do you get the fender/guard off when the last 2 screws situated on the bottom of the car arent moving? i have got the other screws out but the last two wont budge. Ive tried WD-40, screwing it out, hammering it out, drilling though it (wouldnt go too deep). I need to keep the original holes aswell to put the new fender/guard on. Has anyone experience the same problem? My guess is it wont move because it has been on there since 1993 and hasnt moved one bit since then. Also the factor of the screws being pushed in isn't possible because the accident didn't damage the bottom of the guard at all. What you guys think? Lastly how the hell do you take the headlights out when the bolts are situated in the most hard to reach places? I have tried ratchet set etc. Please let me know if you have had previous experience. cheers guys

  23. do you guys reckon a bit of brasso or autosol metal polish will rock up nice after i clean it and its dry? To give it that extra shine? or will it do nothing? cheers
  24. cheers i will probably do the one most people are saying by using the petrol inside and using tape to hold it in and then use the degreaser on the outside to try and clean it up. I will let you guys know how it turns out tomorrow cheers for the help
  25. Hi guys, I just purchased a HKS intercooler at a good price. But the downside was it was very dirty. I want to clean outside and in but not too sure about what to use. Would such degreasers such as engine degreaser or CLR work? What do you guys recommened and what method is best to use? Cheers
