Hey guys i picked up the car today and its in storage i have one month to get the engine out and sell the whole car i checked the status of the car and its not a write off i was thinking to save going to regency should i transfer the plates? What should i do? also if anyones interested in an r33 shell with doors, and bonnet.. series 2 white.. i will take pictures tomorrow.. the rears pretty damages (Rear right) and the front right (not structual though just replacement guard). It comes with series 2 dash, all wiring, front reo bar, doors, s2 bonnet...

Hey guys, I'm going to be doing an engine transfer soon and i have a few questions regarding sa rego. Firstly i am transfering it from an RB25DE to an RB25DET. I get the same engine plate and compliance plate with the engine im putting in. So what should i do? Is there a way to declare this with Motoreg? and no engine plate transfer is required or will i need to go to regency and get it checked? is there a person who re-stamps engine plates and i can get away with it? It's not a problem for me to go to Regency but i would rather get a way out which would be easier seeing that i have all the resources available. Cheers

Hi guys in a few days i will be parting out the rest of a series 2 white skyline it has a few series 2 parts left on it in which is one is a s2 bonnet i was wondering would it be possible for me to swap the bonnets onto my series 1 while keeping the series 1 lights, front bar and wheel archs? Also i just missed out on winning the bid for a greddy intercooler tonight on ebay but i found intercoolers from an interstate company which is just a generic brand! Hey, Are you serious? My car at the moment already has an aftermarket clutch? Not sure it will be compaitable with a turbo? Not sure what one it is because the guy i bought it off didnt do it also ive got the whole car? so can i use the flywheel off the turbo car ive got? cheers

hey guys just letting you know i bought an r33 series 2 body with an engine in it yesterday.. the engines got 100,000 k's on it im hiring out a storage garage to part it i want the engine in my n/a as soon as possible do you guys know of any mechanics which are good? all that needs to be done is engine put in because the guy i bought it off it going to take it out of the shell and prep it for installation so my old engine just needs to be taken out and the new one needs to be plonked in any of you guys interested? if not you guys know of any well priced mechanics which are not too bad at this type of stuff? cheers

Hi guys, Im looking at turbo'ing my car. At the moment i have limited money and i've sussed out all of the options available. Firstly i don't want to buy a turbo 33 because ive spent so much time and money on my car at the moment. I would just rather turbo mine. I have looked at the option of buying an engine but costs are holding me back! Do you reckon i could efficiently turbo my car for a fraction of the price of a turbo engine? At the moment i'm prepared to turbo it and take it easy in order to wait it out until i get the parts! What are the essential items in which i need to turbo it instead of the stupid extras which are just power additions to the conversion? What do you guys think? cheers

when your talking about the seal do you mean the seal around the taillight? if so its only got the adhesive no seals? ive also noticed my taillights somehow cracked on the bottom indicator part.. I might seal that part up as well I will let you know how it comes along cheers

cheers for the repliess ive just decided to take both of your ideas.. Im going to drill a small hole in the lowest point of the indicator and then im going to clean it up and buy more of the taillight sealent and try to do it again cheers guys i will let you know how it comes out

yeehh that was a possibility in my mind.. but i went out to confirm it and my boot seals in perfect condition!! no cracks or wear and tear..

Hi guys, I've been putting up with the issue of water running into my headlights (Indicator part) and staying there untill evaporated. Im getting sick of it i have tried taking it off and buying proper headlight sealent but it hasnt helped. Its doing it again. I've noticed my mates skyline (R33) has the same problem and a few ive checked out after being washed have the same problem. After last nights non-stop raining ive walked out to see my whole indicator filled with water. Has anyone had past experience with this? Any suggestions? Cheers

hey guys at the moment im looking at upgrading a few items throughout the engine. Ive got an rb25de (non-turbo). I was looking around and found a few things. I came across an RB30 loom & plenum for sale.Firsrlt would this fit into an rb25 engine? Would it also fit into a non turbo version? And lastly would it give me a bit of power difference? I then came across a bolt on turbo. It was a T0E4 turbo charger. It didnt come with a wastegate or gaskets. What would i be looking at to get this installed in an rb25? Would all the internals have to be changed? if so most the parts? would it just be worth getting an rb25det? Cheers
