yee im probable gonna do that... also i have an unrelated question lol but steve(Madaz) came around to my place and helped me sort out my dial problem but i noticed now that my indicators don't work but i reckon i know why.. But im nt sure where the plug goes heres a pic i plugged in the 3 adapters that are in the back but im not sure where the other long cord is placed can anyone help me??

not to bad at all ahah started from black rims to everyone fighting... but yes back to the main point of the forum lol im going to get black r34 gtt rims.. but because i have a r33 non turbo there only 4 stud so i have to buy hubcentric spacers 4 to 5 stud... Im doing it this way because it will be the cheapest way to convert it.. Has anyone done this before? Any problems?? Anyone suspect any problem will arise??

i had a look at them yes i do have a 4 stud hub due to it being a non-turbo!! But im not sure because i think the wheels a multi-stud?? Can someone clarify that I will upload a picture of the pattern cheers guys for picking it up Thxx

ahh cheers for letting me know i dont no a huge amount of things to do with rims i just went on what my mates told me.. so your probs rite ill check them out tomorrow ill confirm if there a 4 or 5 stud.. cheers for picking it up

Im getting a bit bored of my chrome rims at the moment.. So i wanna go to a different style i was after black rims i saw a pick of an R33 with stokies that were painted black it actually loked half decent heres the pic does anyone have any other pics of stokies painted on?? cuz it doesnt show the side view or does anyone have any black rims lying around and wouldnt mind selling em?? let me know cheers

I followed all the tips you guys gave me.. regarding me changing over the dials. When i took them off they were fine.. When i putt them on they were fine.. i was busy for 3 weeks and i was scared that my dials woudltn work.. last night i thought i would put my dash back together and see how it goes.. The battery went flat so i tried jump starting it... It didnt work so i recharged it overnight and tried jump starting it today.. it worked but my the dials were out.. When i started the car the speedo dial went straight to 20 km's and my revs speedo didnt work.. i reved it in neutral and the dial didnt move do i have to get it re-calibrated?? or do i have to buy a new speedo?? wheere should i bring it to?? a panel beater?? is the problem not fixable?? i dont get it i took it of without stuffing up my speedo.. i didnt pull out any springs?? anyone no whats happened??

heyy guyss ive made up my mindd im gona finish off the car like this if im correct M-Spec front, sides.. 30 mm spacers @ the front and 8mm spacers @ the rear and a rubber front lip i reckon it looks tops.. looks more sleeker and tough at the same time because its slammed with spacers... does anyone think the 30mm spacers at the front will create problems for me?? + what size do you rekon i should go for if not?? and for rear aswell?? Also does anyone have an R33 S1 m-spec white front bar?? if so let me knoww thankss

shitt that series 1 does look toughh i converted the back of mine today to a series 2 but im gona probs buy a m-spec series 1 for the front and stick my m-spec sides on should look nicee see how we go ill upload some pics wen im done

ohh ok cheers everyone for the feedbackk.. so would anyone recommened coverting the rear of the car to s2?? so just the s2 spoiler and s2 garnish..?? is anything else different?? cheers

Hi Im getting sick of the series 1 skyline so i want to convert it to series 2... I'm looking for a white r33 series 2 rear spoiler, r33 white series 2 front bar and r33 series 2 white rear boot garnish.. I just have a few questions firstlyy will a series 2 garnish fit on a series 1?? or should i paint my current garnish?? secondly will i have to buy a new front end reinforcment bar?? or can i use my current one?? also will the series 2 bar fit with a series 1 bonnet?? or will it not fit or look stupid?? is a series 2 bonnet expensive?? also is it easy to install the front bar?? and will the series 2 spoiler fit the series 1 boot?? If anyone has an of these items can you let me knoww or answer any questions please let me knoww cheerrss guyss

nahh i havent had a chance to start up the car yet cuz the dash is still off.. butt i reckon it should be finee the needle goes down to 0 but i have to push it lightly.. so im not sure if thats going to affect the speedo when im driving.. i will have to test it out and see how it goes.. let you know how it goes..

i tried it again i put it back in and it did it again.. i asked my mate he reckons it doesnt matter because when you drive the needle doesnt just drop free fall till it gets to 0 it gets guided by the cars cpu speed meter.. is that correct everyone??

ok i got them off eventually !!! BUTTT one problem ahah did i break one of them because i pulled it off fine buttt the speed gauge still works and when i put it on and flung it to 180 and let it go.. it only stopped at the first line which was i think 10 km's.. :| did i break it?? or do you reckon wen i start up the engine it should re configure itself and go back to 0?? or do i have to drive a whole 10k's higher then what appears on my speedo loll?? i posted a few pics of the final outcome and problem anyone got any suggestions or know how on whats going or has to happen to fix it?? thankyou

i ended up trying it out i first started on the oil gauge needle for removal it took me literally 10 seconds i pulled gently but carefully... ahhh it came out easily and i placed the white dial face on and wacked the needle back on.. it was fine all went well but then i tried the speed dial and geeeezzzz it took me 40 mintues of pulling and pushingg untill i gave up :| it just wouldnt come out.. anyone got any recommendations?? im jjust dont want to break the needle cuz i will have to buy a new cluster ( thankyouu

Hey guys, Im trying to install new dials on my r33 which i purchased off Ebay. I purchased the ones that just go over the top and are white but they dont illuminate at night. I followed the procedures off this installation site but ive come across some problems.. PROCEDURE SITE: http://www.cyberstork.com/cgi-bin/howto.cg...=8&sel=cut2 Ive attached some pics of whats happening.. on the site it says slowly put it over the dial but the hole on my new dial face is too small but im not sure if i should cut it or if theres a different more easier way people are doing it.. e.g. taking the dial off and then putting the dial back in... It would be very appreciated if someone could help me!! thankyouu

i ended up changing the lights to stock and i managed to get the garnish out it lookss a shit load better alredy even though the rear bars colours a different white.. i just came across a few problems.. i added some pics on ere to show u guys what they are the original exhaust tip that came with it when i bought it is blocking the rear bar from locking in?? not sure why when it would be at an average stock height to allow the bar to fit nicely over it?? also are there special bolts to lock in the rear bar underneath the garnish?? cuz the vortex bodykit didnt have bolts there only on the left and right side and by the looks of it.. the holes a shit load bigger then the original size on the car thats allowed.. what should i use loll?? got no idea?? double sided tape lol silicon lol no idea ahhh is it easy to install half an exhaust on the 33? or should i get a panel beater to do that?? and last of all im going to do what everyone reccomended to me and paint the garnish white is there a special paint you use?? or just a basic paint from an auto store?? cheerss
