  1. Thats the cost of a pretty awesome import. No way you'd pay the same price on it again. Thats the tax you pay in australia, haha
  2. From a logistical side of things, there is not car carrier service that will take a car from GB to AUS. The only way would be in a container. probably 20ft if you're going to go it alone or if you talked to a freight forwarder, they may have a 40ft conatiner they could put it in. 3 to a container would be about right and would make the cost less Freight rates are about US$1200 for a container to come to aus plus unpacking and wharfage costs. looking at about 2.5-3g's depending on how much the forwarder will rip you. from there its like any other import...customs, compliance etc Would have to be a decent car to be worth it hope that helps man
  3. You've got to import. Usually get some mods that come with as a bit of a bonus. Have to realise that the paint, although it sounds like nothing, will had alot of money to the price. Dont worry about the dollar to yen exchange either. Theyre going to go for similar prices no matter what we could have 100 yen to the dollar or 70 to the dollar, peoples budgets arent going to change. Something will come up in your price range. Just a matter of being flexible and patient
  4. I work for one of the main shipping lines that bring Jap imports in and you'd be surprised how many times this happen. sorry to hear the bad news bro
  5. Could be a chance for a sneaky project car. can see the no. plate now...RSRCTD Still, its a shame people out there have to ruin other people prides and joys What goes around comes around
