Cooling Pro Replacement Radiator 32 Gts-T
kyld replied to kyld's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Got the answer I was looking for. Big thanks to Daniel from ERD -
Hey Guys, Quick question, I bought a cooling pro radiator from Just Jap for my 32 gts-t to replace my broken OEM one. When it arrived I noticed that it does not have the hole next to bottom in/out for the sensor like my original radiator . Not sure what should I do, can I just install it as is or what? Any help would be much appreciated

I've had mine on my 32 daily for about 3 months have had no issues. Would also gladly recommend them to anyone. That's my 2cents worth anyway.
-
Can anyone recommend an engineer, around GC or brissy that's not going to charge me a arm and a leg for their signature. I need the hole certified once I get it reinforced.
-
thanks for all the advice guys
-
Sorry I meant right hand side...lol If you stand in front of the car it becomes the left side....hahaha That's what I thought Dan

Ok guys I know this is probably a stupid question, but forgive me for my ignorance. Does the r32 gtst have a hole in the left inner guard, underneath the battery? I'm pretty sure that it was made for the fmic. Qld transport giving me a hard time saying that "I need to restore it to original manufacturer standards". Which makes no sense to me. Any thought thoughts? previous experience with this

I just need basically the holes that were cut to accommodate the intercooler pipes to be certified by an engineer. At least that's what the cop told me.
-
Unfortunately I was not that lucky. Got defected, but the officer let me drive home. Car is now locked up in the garage. That reminds does anyone know an engineer on the GC that will approve my mods? It will be much appreciative because I need to provide a certificate/letter from an engineer to clear one of my defects.

Thanks guys for the input. Gives me a lot to think about. Did not think/know that you can use a single GTR BOV, clearly not much thought went into this from my side...lol
-
Basically I need to change my standard BOV due to a boost leak. I just wanted to know if anybody is running the new Turbosmart dual port BOV kompact series because that the one that interest me the most because it does both performance and sound(only at full boost). If I cant run that I will probs run a plumb back.
-
I am looking to upgrade my standard BOV and just came across the new Turbosmart dual port kompact series. I got a 32 gts-t and just wanted to know if anyone has it one their 32. Really liking this opposed to the straight plumb back. Cheers
-
Could someone PM me the R32 gts-t workshop manual too, if that's not too much to ask.
-
Hey guys, Anyone selling a stock Rb25 turbo.
-
Hang in there man, know its tough but try to stay positive.
-
I've decided to go the electronic boost way, as I initially wanted to. So now its a toss up between the greedy and turbosmart eboost2. I heard that eboost street is not really that good, hence the eboost2. I also like the fact that it can fit in a normal pillar pod, making things look a whole lot neater.

Hey Guys, Sorry I've been AWOL for past couple of days, but thanks for the information. Its given me some food for thought. P.S thanks for the PM Redsuns88, I will be giving you a call as soon as I get a chance. I could could not PM back coz I dont have enough posts yet. Kyle

Hey Guys and Gals (of coarse ) I'm looking to get a front mount intercooler and a boost controller, preferably an electronic one. Wondering if anyone has some recommendations for some good places to shop/install. I live in the GC and dont have a clue where these places are. Any help would be greatly appreciated
-
Hey Sparks, Sorry bout that, it was my fault that we got cut off at the roundabout. I lost the rest of the group as well and ended up going home, but still I have to apologize to you and the guy that was behind you. I felt really shit bout that and hope there is no hard feelings. Yeah the first part of the cruise was great and big ups to KWL 33 for waiting for me coming down the mountain.
-
I'm keen as well, put me on the list.
-
Any particular bearing kits that you guys would recommend ?
-
So what do you guys suggest I do, and how much will it cost coz I'm running on a tight budget this month. Also the guy I spoke to said that the is like that, but like I said before I'm a complete noob to the skyline scene. I used to have an exel before, so yeah...the more info the better.
-
Thanks guys, its good to hear it doesn't cause any damage or problems.
-
Hi, I am a noobie to the whole skyline scene. This might be a stupid question but I have to ask. Is it normal for the release bearing to make singing sound when the car is idling, because when you put your foot on the clutch, it goes away. When you release you get this singing sound. I was told this is normal and just need some piece of mind. Car: R32 Gts-t (92) Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
