hey, sorry to hijack the thread, but I am looking at this kit for my gtr to replace the current stock setup which is not handling Mallala well. A couple of questions; 1. do you need 18" rims to fit the 6pot AP's with 355 discs? I know test fitting is the proper test but would be interested in your wheel setup (i've got 17" LMGT4's) 2. I take it from your post that you're still running the stock rear setup - including calipers and discs? Is that generally ok with trackwork on a car with moderate power? 3. lastly, what pads are you running in the APs? Cheers

by the way, the car is still basically stock with stock turbos so don't have any crazy plans to wind it up - just want it to run 13psi and had the eBoost left over from my old car so wanted to at least plug it in. thanks

Hi, I've just hooked up an eBoost2 boost controller onto my R32 GTR but it doesn't seem to be functioning. All the electrics are hooked up fine (I think) but not sure about the vacuum hoses. I'm used to my old SR20 which had everything nice and visible and on the same side of the engine (ie boost pressure source, wastegate actuators etc) but can't see exactly what connects to what on the RB26. In short (as per the attached pic) I've taken the two hoses that used to connect to the factory solenoid and connected the hose that used to have the yellow band & restrictor to the "Wastegate actuator" side of the eBoost solenoid, and the other hose to the "boost pressure source" side of the solenoid. Can anyone please help me out on whether this is the right way? (I tried to search... sorry) Cheers

As the previous reply stated I think you're aiming a little high. I bought a set off SAU two weeks ago for $75 posted from melbourne. Must admit I wouldn't call them "mint" condition nor do they have a carbon face, so yours should command a premium over that. $200 is probably a stretch.

they are pretty worn but I'll vouch for RE55s being an awesome track tire and 255/40R17 currently sell for $544 a corner from bridgestone (ie $2k+ for the set!). prices have gone up by almost 50% since I bought my first set 1&1/2 years ago So basically the price is definitely reasonable

hi pm me on the gauges - I assume stock GTR r32 gauge set. Are they in good working order, and how much postage to adelaide? cheers (sorry would PM but not up to the 10 post limit yet).

hey, this is a long shot but is there any chance you've got a stock R32 GTR centre console gauge cluster? edit: ps sorry would PM but only recently bought a GTR so only got 4 posts!

so is no-one running these at all? SA Motorsport Tyres recommend them but they are also selling them I've run RE55s on my S15 so would be keen to know how the FTZ Type R compares...
