  1. Tell them to F*ck off and change the crank sensor yourself. I am getting sick of Nissan service department's incompetence.
  2. Perhaps. I just expected more. I think it needed twin turbo and ethanol, but there just wasn't room, and it was a hatch so no boot.
  3. RS4 was no racing model when I drove it, my guess is the RS5 isn't much better.
  4. Can you PM me his number or Email? I have been meaning to have a chat to him about my map, and sorting the gearbox pressures/shifts out. Chris has tried explaining it, but I have no idea what I should be seeing when I adjust the correction maps.
  5. Sorry, I seem to have accidentally stoked the fire.
  6. I seem to remember someone saying a stock GTR exhaust won't pass a noise test.
  7. The stock rear section flows well enough for an untuned Stagea, you could make some coin swapping back... That's why I recommend paying the extra for the Fujutsubo.
  8. People do all kinds of stupid things, that doesn't mean you should copy them... I have seen 500kw through a factory setup, intercooler, plenum, manifolds, piping, airbox, fuel lines etc. If you are near that I would be more worried about the block splitting than the runner flow. Just run a fat mixture and cram some more boost in.
  9. Can a lack of timing be part of the issue? My manifold temp gets pretty hot on e85, and it spikes when i hit the soft limit... It also causes the boost to spike substantially. Do you log any of that data at the track?
  10. Did you price the original from Amayama? Nissan Aus have no clue in most cases.
  11. The plastic fitting is commonly broken, you probably only found it due to this issue, it could have broken months ago.
  12. For ballpoints, you can't go past BIC.
  13. That's how the SR kits are done, no need on the 33 so I am told.
  14. I measure 10.77mm the reg sticks into the rail, the Oring is at 7.8mm (edit, for a 34 reg) The Aeroflow rails are 5mm thick on the back/sides, so you would need a 5mm odd spacer between the rail and reg on the drawing above for it to work. It would be easier to do what Disco wants, as I can turn that up in the lathe easily. The reg could go inline anyway, and barbed fittings are cheap over the counter, anodised already so the fuel won't eat them.
  15. Who's to say the Ebay one won't also? Have you checked this theory by measuring the egt's in each runner, or are you just happy to quote old wives tales? Gibson didn't have any trouble with it afaik...
  16. Flowing in reverse at least. I obviously didn't check the crank direction of travel as I had more important things to worry about, and really, I don't care as it's fixed. You argue more than my missus.
  17. It's most likely a simple fault, but finding someone willing to pull it apart and replace the noisy bearing/part is the issue. If you were at all mechanically minded I would suggest doing it yourself, if you can find a manual for it...
  18. It won't be that, you most probably have another issue.
  19. lol. Could be a goer mate, I am sure I could get something like that made...
  20. My Fcon is very tunable... Still got it?
  21. I think the oring is much smaller than the rail entry, plus you need the two threaded ears to bolt the reg to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patina
  22. Have you checked the price lately for new Nismos? You are looking at around $150 each shipped. Xspurt 1000's for $100ea leaves enough for a rail and reg, with ethanol compatibility and modern injector design. If we can incorporate the stock reg into it, you would save money.
  23. I have built multiple cars running stock plenum/airbox/manifold and made close to twice what OP is running. It isn't those choking anything, more likely the turbo (rear housing) selection or tune.
  24. He wants the stock look as much as possible, stock reg at the least. The Aeroflow rails are set up for mid (3/4) length injectors, using the short ones requires shortening the spacers which scares some people.
