I watched a 50k Cosworth motorsport engine bed in over a few races recently, the blowby was horrendous the first session, each race after that the rings sealed better, spewing less oil out any seal it could... It was built pretty loose though. The more combustion pressure the harder the rings push on the cross hatch.

  11. Mine was june 01 I think. Probably one of the first. Perhaps they have been removed already.
  12. You would need top feed injectors if you use the Neo plenum. This is a good thing. Pretty sure you just need to swap a few wires between them.
  13. Why would you put a T4 housing on the stock T3 exhaust manifold? If you want response and outright power, external gate is the best option.
  14. I'm thinking they put it on the later models or something. I haven't found it on a few cars I have looked at now.
  15. I have my old surrounds Josh, with clips. I also have the part number for new replacement surrounds. The clips come with the new surrounds.
  16. Are you sure a VQ25det engine isn't what you should be chasing? I have a few here...
  17. Get it on a Consult 3 unit, that way you can get a description of the fault. I think the seat switch contacts play up occasionally. These can be shorted I think, my aftermarket rails came with a plug in module, but it showed zero resistance when i measured across the pair of wires. Does yours have 4 yellow wires in the plug under the seat, or only two? Some have an anti dive ram in the seat, some don't. I couldn't clear mine manually using the procedure you used, my airbag light flashed for many years before I bought the consult3, that cleared it instantly and it has never come back.
  18. I found heavy duty degreaser worked well, and is much less caustic. It is just too expensive to use carb cleaners, you will go through many cans. Good to hear the car doesn't throw codes with a small hole, what size did you drill? It may take a while for the codes to show, let us know if it pops up after a while. I can probably find out the resistance required if I get a chance, I know a few people trying to ditch egr completely.

  20. I have changed a few, probably from overtightening. The manifold needs to move around on the head a little as it expands.
  21. How much coin does he have to blow? Not many of us running aftermarket turbo's, most are happy with a highflow for less headaches. Have you even seen how hard it is to get to?

  23. You are running high impedance injectors, those wires ran to the resistor for the low impedance injectors.
