  1. http://www.injectorsonline.com/categories.php?cid=106 I can get better pricing... Just PM me.
  2. Will work fine with any standalone ecu afaik. Piggyback computers can have difficulties with larger sizing. It could be worth speaking to the tuner, but many guys on SAU are running ID, Xspurt, ev14 2000's on petrol and ethanol. Personally I would just get the cheaper Xspurt 1000's and bump the fuel pressure up, the new Walbro e85 pumps will still flow enough at high base pressure, and supply you with 1500cc+ in the top end...
  3. Why not go for 2000's? Around $120 each through my supplier for ev14's.
  4. Any reason you need ID's specifically? I can help with new Xspurts... Exactly the same injector, local brand with warranty, and cheaper price...
  5. You won't be looking at gauges while on the track, and low oil pressure warnings are a pain, as they go off any time the engine isn't running. If you can log oil pressure on the ecu it becomes much more useful, as you can see when it is perhaps surging around corners etc, and muck around with oil grades to change pressures.
  6. Mmm, shiny. Wish my car was all shiny... When you dropping down Dave?... Dave? Forever dirty.jpg
  7. Ah, the kebab shop next to Recaro. Gotcha. Might pop down... Always keen to try a new kebab shop.
  8. There is an aircon specialist on Progress street Dandenong, have been there a few times, just not recently. It's the light green building here... https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-38.001896,145.236855,3a,75y,195.47h,89.69t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sZ1g1TicJGwYbSkX8EJxrhg!2e0 Edit, street view links don't seem to work.
  9. Are you running an afm? If you are just MAP sensored then no, it doesn't have to plumb back. (Unless you want to try and make it slightly stock looking, if only a little.)
  10. Not much to it, just a tight 4 inch bend would do, with a straight section after the bend. If you run into issues finding someone local, I can fabricate from pictures. Are you running the BOV/breather back at all?
  11. Measuring the temperature of the brakes will only waste your time, the rear disk mass is much less than the 34gtt disk and will heat quicker, it will also cool quicker. (as Matt was getting at) I would be looking at your pads, what compound are they? What brand?
  12. What is there to know with a single scroll, just a standard T3 gasket is what you need... I like using the Nissan OEM ones.
  13. Or how many workshops have...
  14. Good chance the wires have melted on the exhaust manifold or something.
  15. Exhaust temp, water temp, oil temp would be good, if the oil pressure drops at the track you probably won't have time to react anyway. Most of these things can be logged on a race car motec/haltech setup, so little point having gauges, just a warning would perhaps do.
  16. Possibly. It's up to you to fault find this one, as I doubt the exhaust shop will help much. It's taken me 5 years to perfect my Stagea dump and front pipe, there is a lot more to exhaust design than just making a pipe from here to there... What did they use for a turbo flange? I assume they re-used the stock one, as laser cutting a new flange one off is cost prohibitive. So it's a mild system?
  17. lol. VAG. I still don't understand why you would need the smoke, I test intakes all the time and have no issue finding leaks with plain air, I just figured it was a way of charging more for what should take 10 seconds with a compressor. Try 40psi if you want to find them easier.
  18. Is the bong smoke machine under pressure? If not, don't even bother, just make a bung and cram some air into it. 20psi should do nicely if you can keep it in there.
  19. Oh... Why the hell not?
  20. Why isn't the o2 in the stock position just after the turbo? You can't just go around moving sensors and expect them to run as per factory. Narrowband sensors need to warm up as quickly as possible, directly in front of the turbine outlet flow is the correct spot. Where did they mount the cat, in the dump pipe?
  21. You can only use a Z32 afm on a tuned engine. Are you planning to stick a programmable ecu in also? You can easily solder it to repair. There is a 'how to' in the diy section.
  22. You afm is most probably faulty, they can sometimes be repaired if you crack them open and resolder the plug connections.
  23. Seems to be a path of destruction on the exact path you take to work mate... Killer Micra?
  24. The T3 gasket could have gone, but usually the turbo flange warps from massive heat and pressure due to track work. Not sure if the weight of the exhaust hanging off it makes it worse... I have seen it a few times on tracked cars running smaller turbo housings. Either way you will need to check both ends of the turbo to know if it's ok or not.
  25. A truck could have driven through my house and it wouldn't wake me up...
