  1. All you need is 22psi crammed down it's throat, as long as the fuel system can keep up. Seems to be making good power for the low boost you are running atm.
  2. I haven't had an issue with my stock VQ coils at 40psi, there is obviously something wrong with your setup if you can't run more than 21... Are you running a wideband? Most likely the mixture is just too rich and it's flooding under boost. Otherwise, drop a set of VQ coils in there.
  3. *Brakes... Sounds like there is a leak, or the master is faulty. Not much we can help with over the internet. Check the calliper halves to make sure the Oring between them isn't weeping.
  4. Agreed, the idea is to keep the gas speed up with smaller runners, not slow it down by opening them up. Unless of course it becomes a restriction at 500kw+...
  5. Yeh sorry, I get a lot of messages. Have cleaned my inbox now. I have never seen idle issues with the Xspurts I sell, even the 2000cc injectors idle fine. As I already mentioned, any SN rated oil will be fine, just change it regularly, and keep the running oil temp over 80 degrees to evaporate any water and ethanol out of it. E85 is cheaper, but you use 30% more for the same power, don't get too excited because you will end up using twice the fuel you normally would at say a track day or similar. It's worth it though.
  6. They won't be cheap, the materials alone will cost over $500 at a guess, unless I can import some stainless 100 cell cats from China like the US guys making them do.
  7. Anyone with a Consult 3 or 3+ can do it apparently, not sure I would want to have a crack though, I imagine bricking an ecu isn't what awsam needs right now. Nissan can do it once he has the flash file, the actual reflash is the easy part.
  8. Mine seems to be holding up just fine.... For years now. Has something happened to yours Jase?
  9. Cheaper? No way, I could fabricate a kit for less using factory VQ25det manifolds. I did notice there was 1 HKS kit in stock though... Easier? I doubt it, most twin setups or kits that put the turbo in the stock airbox position will just get you defected. There is no point doing any of the above until the engine is built anyway.
  10. Agreed, I can't justify charging anywhere near what they do, for even simple fault diagnosis. $150 to plug the Consult 3 in, if they even want to. Stupidly expensive parts pricing, which you must use if they do the work, and no warranty on the parts because 'Import' is just wrong. Plus they generally have no idea, so what exactly are you paying 1000's for?
  11. Pretty sure it is... I will call him for you Rudi.
  12. I didn't want to add VQ25det's to the list.
  13. Cam sensors, crank sensors, afm's, injectors, fuel pumps, bushes, throttles, wheel bearings... I can get nearly anything though if it's worth importing... I was also looking into making HFC's/decats to suit 370z headers, as a performance upgrade for the V35. Not sure how much interest there is though.
  14. You are lucky, Trent is booked solid for a month. How the hell does this front bar come off?
  15. 320kw from a GT35? I would hope so. Needs moar ethanol in the tank.
  16. Interesting, I think you are correct, and the first reg could be in the tank, similar to returnless fuel setups. The other rail return reg could be switched in for easy starting, and have no hot fuel returning.
  17. What are you chasing? I have a few aftermarket and second hand parts available... Otherwise, Nissan Australia or Amayama.
  18. I have, but I don't cut the hole under the battery for obvious (defect) reasons, I run custom piping up beside the radiator.
  19. You are welcome to drop down here for a look over, I know VQ's backwards. Bit far to take it to Barry in Albion...
  20. I only sell Xspurts from Aznew, they are the same injector (Bosch EV14) modified here in Australia. The ID's are from the US but there are Australian resellers if you don't mind paying a little more. Have a quick Google and you will find plenty of sites selling them. Just make sure the adapter is 10.2mm, not the 11mm most places send from ID, they don't fit in the 26 rail. The short injectors that fit easier under the rb25 plenum are the 440, 550, 750, 1000 and 2000's, perhaps more sizes if I asked for custom made injectors, but that's enough of a range for most builds I think.
  21. Yep, I am just ordering a set of shorty 1000's, so Xspurts come in a few lengths, and they can also machine the top down to 11mm to suit GTR's if you don't like adapters.
  22. Nice one Erop, I have an assembly here with pressure switch problems, I might give this switch a shot. Thanks. You don't happen to have a part number for the correct pressure and thread do you?
  23. I made this setup for a 550kw Supra, force fed from the front bar by a 4 inch pipe. It used to lift the bonnet slightly at high speed so the seal must have been pretty good. I used flat alloy sheet with heat proof foam backing, and the Clark rubber seal.
  24. The muffler is the cheap part, fabricating it into the exhaust might be a pain in the arse if you need to change pipe size as well as install hangers etc...
  25. I prefer liquid lubes, and have used teflon pushie chain lube with success, anything would work though as I doubt one drop of synthetic oil would damage the seal.
