  1. You will need new lower Orings, and a 10.5mm rail adapter at a minimum. PM me if you have issues finding them as I have the parts on the shelf. Hopefully they aren't the wrong length or you will need to modify the rail spacing to hold the injectors in place.
  2. I have a few aftermarket front wheel bearings here from the US... Nissan ones are just too expensive.
  3. Yeh, they arrived on Friday. Should have some time by next week all going well. Still catching up on work since my few days off over Christmas.
  4. One of my R33gtst customers maxed a 460L at 430kw on e85 recently. I suggested he run twin 460's.
  5. I found the same issue, the rear vision mirror was often in the way until I fitted the Bride seats and rails. They dropped me nearly 100mm.
  6. Won't work on the 2.5 or 3.0 direct injection engines though, as they aren't OBD2 compliant. The 3.5L is compliant.
  7. Any SN rated oil is fine for e85. Don't listen to anyone not running it, as once you go to ethanol you will never go back. The torque gains are well worth it, even if you don't wind the timing in, or bump the boost up. Your engine and exhaust will be cleaned of carbon deposits, your fuel system will be spotless, and the engine protected from detonation. If the only drawbacks are changing oil regularly and 25% less distance from the tank... I will let you make your own decision. Anyone wanting to know information about e85 is welcome to PM me, I have been learning it's peculiarities, testing and tuning with it for over 5 years. I am more than capable of dispelling any myths people have been told.
  8. The bronze bushes sound fine, hopefully the thrust washer is ok... How much oil comes out the feed line when you idle the car?
  9. Don't get a Bosch, they are way noisier than a new Walbro 460, and more expensive. Just use a couple of hose clamps to hold it onto the hanger.
  10. Is the gauge erratic? Mine was all over the place. It's a very common failure point so if the re-solder doesn't fix it, just buy another sensor off me and drop it in perhaps? No idea what the voltage is at idle, as idle vac changes with every engine anyway. It obviously isn't correct though.
  11. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/297345-m35-factory-boost-gauge-repair/?hl=%2Bboost+%2Bsensor+%2Brepair#entry4953193 That's a link to my repair thread, the 34GTT is the same sensor. There is a specific skyline how to floating about also.
  12. I just use 5mm alloy strips, no need for RHS unless it's a stripped out track car.
  13. This is the best advice. Stao knows his turbo problems, and has seen quite a few bush core highflows fail from lack of oil flow. The stock banjo needs to be drilled out at the very least. I go 2.5-3mm usually, drilling through the .9mm stock restrictor. I have seen a bush turbos fail within 50k's from similar stock restrictor issues. At least check the shaft play both ends of the turbo.
  14. There is something wrong with your wastegate actuator then, you should always be able to hit actuator pressure at least.
  15. Just make sure it is a genuine one, there are a LOT of fake ones getting about. Or just buy an SX reg like I did. it's been working fine for over 4 years.
  16. It would probably just cause a little shudder through the drivetrain under high G's, hopefully not enough for the computer to fault, but it may... Probably not good for the transfer case long term, especially with extra power thrown at it.
  17. Sure Aaron, I had better rush out and buy a Merc just for the $20 head lights.
  18. The 1000's in 3/4 length drop straight in and work fine with e85, it would be my best selling injector. Let me know if you need prices Aaron, I can usually beat anything advertised.
  19. Agreed, the e85 one will be fine, as is the standard sock attached to the Walbro 255's, and most other (non Chinese) pumps I would say. Who told you it would fail anyway?
  20. I can't help with the housing, but I could perhaps weld it for you, depending where the crack is... I'm in Hampton park if you get desperate.
  21. The corrosion on the coolant pipes tells a different story, as does the injector plug, it has definitely been in an engine bay for a long period, with the loom plugged in.
  22. Ditch the BOV and stick a stock one back on. Make sure it is plumbed back to the intake. Should solve the backfiring anyway. Then get a tune.
  23. I got them both off, I had to strip the entire wreck as it's getting towed today. I will start a new thread for the Axis. Sorry, been busy busy..
  24. I was seriously eyeing it off too Mark, but no funds. They are all tied up in the gleaming new Autech sitting in my driveway.
  25. You can probably stick an old pump on it, with a hose and clamp, and test the spray pattern yourself. Compare a good one to a bad one by spraying it into the missus good measuring cup. I don't have access to a flow tester at the moment, I just used the wholesalers setup last time I was there. The injector test jig is available fairly cheap these days from China but they won't work with 1000's or 2000's very well, which is why I wanted to make my own using parts I have laying around.
