  1. Just the blade? It's a standard rubber, just cut down.
  2. No idea, I am in Melbourne. I could suggest a few good places down here, but obviously you will need to search around Sydney for a suitable trans specialist, or simply fit an MV valve body yourself. Trans cooler- any large (V8) cooler from Autobarn that fits, and has the same barbed connections, 8mm I think. The other questions are better answered by your tuner, or Toshi in this case. There may be limitations to the stock ecu. Other than that, Bosch 1000's are cheaper than Nismo injectors. (and there are plenty of fake Nismo injectors getting about.) Pump, get a Walbro 460L at $200.
  3. I think so, if not the new Axis will have one Adam. Which parts are you after?
  4. With a shift kit and trans cooler you should be good for around 300kw, other than that the normal supporting mods apply, but you will need to aim a little high, the auto will suck 10% or more of your power output when compared to a manual. Considering you would need to buy an Emanage Ultimate, plug in or universal loom, map sensor, wire it in then get it tuned, I think Toshi might be your best bet.
  5. Not anymore, I upgraded to teflon when I fitted the twin pumps. My mate has been running e85 in his stock XR6t for 5 years, as have many other people.
  6. I haven't seen ethanol eat anything yet, 5 years of testing should be plenty right? Perhaps with pre 90's fuel systems it may be an issue. I think people get mixed up with Methanol. Don't believe the hype...
  7. It look much the same as all the other brands, but no mention of ethanol compatibility, unlike the two I mentioned. Seems to be a good price though. Worst case you shove a paper element in there, and replace the two Orings...
  8. 14mm top feed. Same injector as the VQ series engines.
  9. Is it the same as a Stagea mirror? I have a silver M35 coming down here for wrecking soon...
  10. Told you. BTW, I think the Axis I am getting may have perfect headlights. Haha..
  11. The last one I bought was an SX filter, 10 micron paper element. I know Moran sell a large 2000+hp filter with 10 micron paper element, but it was around $600 when I asked the wholesaler
  12. The Taiwanese stainless housing works well, and once externally gated off the housing will flow spectacularly, they are coming out the back door of the Tial factory after all. I was only commenting on the GTX due to the comparison map supplied above, this is a discussion thread yes? No need to get your panties in a twist, we already know your turbo preferences... I will seriously look at these EFR's when they shorten them (external gate housings), ditch all the frilly crap hanging off them, and lower the price. No Garrett affiliation here, I only use GTX's as they are the best option from a piss poor bunch imo... And I like proving people wrong.
  13. The 3 bolt flange is 2.5 inch or 70mm or something. I would run it down to the cat preferably to keep it 3 inch. How can I compete with the JJ cheap arse dumps though? That is the whole reason Stao has that massive adapter welded to the back of his housings, so the JJ dump can be used. Glad you like it anyway.
  14. Well said Birds.
  15. That would explain it. My mate is running 300kw through the stock BA exhaust.
  16. Not all of them, my ones have stainless truck flex inside them instead of the convoluted stainless with braid, they cost twice the price though. I am sure you could shorten the rear pipe, but Vbands are a pain to weld at the best of times. PM me and I will explain how I do mine. Stao should be selling the dump with them imo, to suit the stock manifold. Not everyone has a good fabricator around the corner... I offered to jig some up for him, but he wanted Chinese sweatshop pricing. Hopefully you can source something that works Johnny. The turbo came up great, have you test fitted it yet?
  17. You would be getting ripped off then, $1781... lol. Try MTQ, you will obviously save much more than $66 on a 71R, even converted to NZ coin. Is the EFR worth twice what the Garrett just cost me? I guess not in my case. Now to buy another .82 Tial copy rear housing from Taiwan...
  18. Detonation will be your main concern with a high comp turbo engine. If you can get on e85 you may fine, or water/meth.... Keep the boost on the low side for longevity as the cylinder pressures will be massive. It might be a good idea to swap to some decent head bolts and an MLS gasket while it's out of the car if you plan to push it hard.
  19. They do seem to run a little richer on boost than OEM, I suspect they have a slightly different airflow/Voltage curve. Only the modified cars seem to display the rich running, at least it's better than lean mixtures I guess. Did you reset the ecu before fitting it Josh? The problem is the 'replacement' Nissan AFM's run much the same as these, and only last a short time in comparison, (something gets damaged inside at full noise for some reason.) I have yet to hear of a failure from these aftermarket afm's, and the price is much more reasonable. Gives you a good reason to tune the car Josh.
  20. You can easily see the difference the lightweight turbine makes in the low end... Efficiency aside, what is the price difference between them? I just picked up a new GTX3071 for $970 (with no rear housing).
  21. I have had issues finding good 4 inch mufflers, there aren't many online. I usually use Magnaflow but they aren't what I would call quiet. I didn't know Hurricane made mufflers that large, I will have to get in contact with them. I would assume they only do mild steel though?
  22. Good call Adam, and if you plan to drive it hard you may want to stick a PS cooler on also, there have been many pumps fail from overheating on track days. It only needs to be a small cooler...
  23. The Turbosmart Kompact is a great buy for the price, and has worked fine for me for many years now. You may need to swap the springs if it is too tight for your liking, but it is bolt-on. Any plumb back bov should work fine though. The GTR one has a larger outlet so you may need to muck around with the piping a bit.
  24. What mufflers are you running? That's pretty good for such a large system...
