  1. Next service? What makes you think a service will fix it? Someone needs to pick up a spanner mate....
  2. $500 fluid flush? Hahahaha.... Matic J is $70 to $80 a bottle, you will need 12L or so. Nulon Synthetic ATF is matic J compatible and is $220 or so for 20L if you look around.
  3. Second hand injectors are a little hit and miss, as injectors don't like being on the bench after having fuel in them. It costs me $25 an injector to clean and test, and I sell Bosch 1000's for $100ea so you need to decide what is cheaper. If you can get them free I guess it could work out well, but you will need 14 - 11mm adapters for the top also. 34 Neo injectors are the same as VQ25det injectors, and I have plenty here. They would need a clean and new Orings at a minimum. I would be leaning towards the 1000's as Piggaz said.
  4. Probably, as I doubt you would run 5mm wall tube for the AFM delete pipes.
  5. Best results seem to favour the turbo housing, as long as the gate can get good flow. I managed to help squeeze 430kw out of the factory manifold using a gate off the housing. Welding the the manifold makes it too hard to clean up the inside with a die grinder afterwards. You can't just weld a gate on at a 90 and expect it to flow well.
  6. Some of the guys have been running these aftermarket AFM's for years, they are obviously more robust than what Nissan offer (for some reason.) They look like they all come from the same factory, same markings etc. I have had one return so far, the car was running a little rich on boost and swapping the AFM fixed it. Perhaps I should send that AFM up to craig, it may help his current engine last longer.
  7. Looks like you have already made some bad choices, and throwing a set of cams at it won't help with your doughy response, it will make it worse no doubt. Are you just chasing numbers?
  8. +1 ^^ I just don't have the time to host, it was hard enough cleaning up the bot posts. That last attack was crazy, the site needs a full time admin with time to spare.
  9. Good to hear Toby. One more mod down. When is the tune?
  10. It's my daily, it won't happen till the Evo is on the road... And I am still a little apprehensive about losing the AWD at that power. It will completely transform the car.
  11. There are plenty left. I have a busy weekend planned, just call me before you head over.
  12. What is wrong with the stock cams? How much power do you have, and what are you chasing?
  13. Yes mate, I ordered another batch, come and grab one. The Nissan ones aren't suitable for our car for some reason. (Not that Nissan will tell you they keep blowing...)
  14. The stock lines would have been fine, did you remove the restrictor so the Banjo could seat?
  15. For the harness, not the Fcon. V3.24 or 3.3 you will need I think.
  16. I have an Axis with sunroof coming down soon mate if you need a motor... I have never pulled the roof lining out, so I have no idea yet, perhaps Craig can chime in?
  17. New C class? http://www.dieselforum.org/index.cfm?objectid=DE669CCE-7ACC-11E2-8112000C296BA163
  18. Perhaps he cable tied himself under the car and got the mrs to drive?
  19. Not if you bring that Merc crap.
  20. I think so mate, the 1000's might be a tight fit, but the shorty 750's and 2000's are definitely no issue. I may even be able to get 1000's in the same shorter 1/2 length. The SR20 rail kit I sell comes with a plenum spacer to help the 1000's clear the upper plenum. Perhaps you could do a similar thing to the RB plenum halves using bakelite or a similar insulating material, that way you would stop the heat transfer into the upper plenum also. I am using twin Proflow stainless mesh filters, I haven't cleaned them in 3-4 years, since they were installed. I can't remember what micron they were... The paper filters I have been buying were SX brand, suitable for alcohol fuels. (They have a similar 8an housing to the proflow/Speedflow style filters, and might just drop in to them.) I run the SX fuel reg in my car without issues so I knew it was good gear.
  21. As far as I know they are the same, the part numbers are anyway. One says in the description it is for turbo applications, the more expensive one obviously.
  22. Did you disconnect any other hoses? Perhaps one has a split in it? Is the map sensor on one of those hoses, or separate?
  23. I think the built in filter inside the injector is getting blocked by the fine black carbon floating in the fuel, as it is finer than most injector filters, possibly as it's a gas injector. (Specifically the ID2000's for some reason) I have had no issues with my Xspurt 1000's and I have put a LOT of fuel through them over the years. I now suggest to customers they run a high flow 10 micron paper filter before the rail with 2000's. Moran demand 10 micron filtration for their injectors on Ethanol fuels, or the warranty is void.
  24. 18-20mm long, 14mm OD, 12mm ID. Just get the 12mm bolts from a bolt joint. Can't remember how long they were, or what pitch. Sorry.
  25. My consumption has been woeful, but I realised it was mainly due to lots of short runs. The cold start enrichment you need with ethanol is horrendous so you want to keep it to a minimum. You guys have higher comp than me at a guess also, which would help.
