  1. Shouldn't need to be gapped, I don't get misfire on 3mm gap. LFR7's are probably better if you give the car a hard time.
  2. If you could run the stock injectors on 91 octane using the factory map, then add e85 or water/meth off a map sensor through secondary injectors and a poly tank, it would give you the best of both worlds imo. Good cold starts off the factory computer/injectors, cheap 91 fuel, great economy, then as boost hits a p1ggybacked computer could adjust timing and fuel from the secondary injectors.
  3. Faark, mine are only 4 inch long and probably flex better than what you have there. They are reinforced truck flexible exhaust, not that convoluted pipe you normally see around. I can get them up to 4 inch diameter.
  4. I keep getting shot down for suggesting the 25 neo is the best of the bunch, totally agree Scott.
  5. Seems I was correct. As far as I know that is the only signal the Attessa needs from the ecu. The rest is done by the G sensor in the centre console.
  6. No, the seats are in Perth now. I just bought another Axis wreck though... Do the seats have to be tan?
  7. I hope they know how to bleed it correctly...
  8. Great result, but it isn't getting strapped down enough. Lowering the tyre pressure a little and strapping it down hard will lower the output so you only need to do it just enough to stop the wheelspin. Unless the dyno rollers have worn cross hatching? Either way it is very limiting. How do you think the workshop would go with 600kw rwd cars if they are having issues with yours...
  9. First things first, where are you mounting the turbo? Are you planning to buy the Turbonetics kit?
  10. What is wrong with the stock nuts? You going for weight saving? Better off taking a dump in that case.
  11. Series 2 you mean? There is no gearbox other than the RE5 that bolts up to our orphan, I need to swap the sump so the bolts line up on the 350x box, and the starter fits. There is a lot of mechanical work before I even get to the electronic side.
  12. Boost gauges, especially mechanical ones, are notoriously inaccurate. My first one was out 3 or 4 psi. Not sure how strong the ceramic wheel on the 34's is specifically, but I ran my stock ceramic Stagea turbo at 20psi for 6 months with no failure. If the bearing is in good condition and the rotating assembly is balanced you should be fine for a while at least. Then Hypergear it.
  13. The C34 was released in manual, and has a programmable ecu. The M35 does not, and parts seem to be nearly impossible to find. (I have been trying to find a manual V35 console and handbrake for years) The conversion is still going ahead, as soon as my Evo is built and on the road. I just hope I can find at least the handbrake by then.
  14. I will grab em mate.
  15. Sounds like it just needs the throttles cleaned, or perhaps there is a vacuum leak? Then you could try a throttle relearn. What engine do you have?
  16. He is running my old cable throttle, he has no need for that electronic crap anymore.
  17. 3 stud.
  18. It could well be the battery still, these cars have way too much electronics in them to like even a slight voltage drop. What is it doing on startup?
  19. Wish I could help you Liam but the UK is just too far for me to travel with my laptop. Mike, if you need the codes read, I have a Nissan consult 3 here...
  20. They do go occasionally, and as you mentioned, Nissan want drug money for them. 2K for that is a joke. They are available from China through the back door, and you can buy them locally for $300 odd I think.
  21. Chinese RAYZ nuts. ^^
  22. Spotted a white series 2 c34 on princes highway Clayton around 5 today.
  23. If all the tyres are matching there isn't much else you can do, unless the fronts are worn more than the rears? Hopefully it just needs a flush, new fluid can only help it, and get rid of any built up air in the system.
  24. Sounds like either the throttle or perhaps the pedal sensor is faulty. I doubt cleaning it will fix the issue but you never know... I have spares if you need them...
  25. The coupe midpipe won't change the noise level much. If you want a decent note with no drone, the Fujitsubo is hard to pass on. Not sure if the turbo 80mm system fits on the PNM though.
