  1. 500kw plus at 29psi. I know for a fact as I saw it tuned the other day. It was surging in the midrange too.
  2. Any head is good head. If the valves are seating well you could just do the springs, depending what lift cams you have. I replaced all the exhaust valves in my last head reco (4g63) as I didn't want issues, and they were only $12 each. Take it to a specialist and ask them what it will cost to reco, they will be able to tell you if the guides need doing etc.
  3. So glad you posted this, the other 10 threads on fault codes were so hard to find...
  4. I have a Jig if you need an intake, can't help with the dump, unless the car is here.
  5. The clutches wear, just like any other clutch. They are designed to slip into gear gently which causes more wear. People fit shift kits to their auto to help speed up the shift, and put more pressure on the clutches to stop the slipping. If the clutches are worn they are quite hard to replace, and usually the entire box is rebuilt. It could also be a sticky or blocked solenoid or filter. Probably best to get an opinion from a respected local auto specialist. The attessa has nothing to do with the box, other than being bolted to the back of it...
  6. If it changes the TPS position, the box may well think you aren't needing full line pressure to the auto, which means slipping clutches. I would speak to MV, Kewish or some prefered specialist before you try anything like that. You could always build the box and manualise it...
  7. Auto yeh? Sounds like the clutches are metal on metal. Time for a replacement or expensive rebuild.
  8. Not sure about the RB one, but on the VQ there is a large Oring behind it too, which is known to leak. I doubt they are much different in design.
  9. Depends if you want a genuine one or not.
  10. Who would be stupid enough to buy from Nissan Aus. these days with Amayama and similar companies around. Nissan can get farked with their rip off prices.
  11. Till it seats on the crush washer, then half a turn. Re-using them isn't a good idea once the washer is crushed.
  12. Ray has been working at RTR for months afaik, I can only guess the money ran out... Finally.
  13. Common sense? I hear he is into Mercury for a LOT of coin. (and it still isn't going)
  14. Here is what I have. I don't think it would be a good idea to try and split it up...
  15. This is why you diagnose an issue before buying parts. An intake pressure test is the first thing I would have done...
  16. Two turbos, that's all you got for your 20k. I would love to school you on the single cam 30 head, next week when it gets tuned. But you will just doubt the result, like we doubt your outlandish claims.
  17. ^^ Superiority complex much? The RB26 is not a modern engine design, and yes the early RB25 with it's VCT easily makes up for the 100cc less capacity, even more so the Neo. If you can't handle this fact, it's not our problem. Why do you think HKS spent millions designing the RB26 Vcam setup, which is a VQ part by the way...
  18. Just the lid you after? I have some parts here.
  19. Lol, your 260 is standard? Do you actually believe that? It had the same RS4 rear end when it left the nissan factory, before it was hacked up...
  20. It's gone. Ray is working at RTR afaik. Ah, that's right, I think I read he doesn't tune the 33 Nistunes, because there are too many issues with it or something. I think that should give you enough reason to ditch the Nistune and get a decent ecu.
  21. It's common to have oil in the hotpipe, and the cooler as that is where the engine breathes the crankcase to. That is the reason most guys fit a catch can as one of their first mods.
  22. Keep dumping that clutch, I can hear the gearbox whine from here. BTW, I said tractor engine, not truck. At least quote me properly. Pretty sure they will never be allowed to install an ethanol pump in Darwin. You guys would keep tryin to drink it.
  23. Lol. Good luck finding RE... Springy lost their tuner afaik. Never heard of RevZone. Have you heard of Checkered tuning? Trent would be the best bet. It's not about the power, its the way it drives that would see marked improvement, with a decent tuner behind the keyboard.
