  1. Better option? I wouldn't go that far yet... I am still learning the myriad of options the Fcon has to suit our cars, if only there was HKS factory support, like they have in NZ...
  2. Why would it run richer? Surely the stock fuel pressure reg can keep up... Definitely something you want to do before a tune, I have seen so many people fail on the dyno due to fuel supply issues and not having the pump hardwired, such a waste of time and money.
  3. ^ Agreed. I just used ARP L19 head studs and bolted the f*kr down hard. (although VQ heads are a lot shorter.)
  4. Looks good Dale, the stock pump does indeed drop voltage at idle and cruise to limit the flow, so the fuel doesn't overheat. Unfortunately the new pumps require more voltage, hence the need for the rewire. Are you mounting the relay under the seat there? What happens if a big bloke sits there, does the seat touch the relay? Did you use the DW300?
  5. T04Z will definitely be laggy. lol. There seems to be a strange correlation between people running T04Z's and reading dyno power in flywheel HP...
  6. You could give my mate Barry a ring at Edge Motorworks, he just moved to Sunshine, opposite Ace Go-carts. He imports V35's V36's etc. so should be able to help inspect one... Address: 3/17 Carrington Dr, Albion VIC 3020 Phone:(03) 8361 9523
  7. Like 180sex?
  8. Silicone would fix it, but you are correct, a metal one would be better. So would leaving the stock airbox in place...
  9. An easier bolt on might be getting billet wheels put into the stock housings. Try giving Stao (Hypergear) a PM. I am sure he could help you out.
  10. ^^ This. I have used them a few times, great quality and no issues, it just works. They have 4 ports, good for adjusting the hose angle, and using the other ports for oil pressure/temp readings. The oil filter threads, and the sensors (oil pressure and temp) will be imperial, probably many more too. Garrett use imperial threads on the turbos also.
  11. Wat? Lol. The seals will not expand. I hoped you saved plenty of coin buying them from the US... If you can PM me a picture of what you have, and what the issue is exactly I can most probably supply the correct part to you, I have all the seals in stock, including the larger lower Oring.
  12. Stop polishing it and get it tuned Dave.
  13. I think that big grey plug is the injector loom, can you follow it back? Yes, the resistor can be anywhere. You can check inside near the ecu perhaps, also the fuse box is much larger on the 260, it's not under or inside it is it? No-one has changed the injectors already? I can't really see them from the photo. You could try measuring their resistance...
  14. I will let you know when they eventually turn up.
  15. 7k? wtf? Mine cost $500.
  16. I have plenty of shagged ones here you can steal the sensor off. Why don't you just return it?
  17. A cold cut saw (brobo) works best, second is a horizontal bandsaw. With a friction blade you will be cleaning up a grand old mess on every wedge.
  18. They look handy, as they have an Oring seal.
  19. The hotwire is inside the air channel at the top of that pic. The air temp varistor is missing from the side, perhaps you could use the one off the old afm, but only if there are 5 pins in the plug... You got ripped. I sell them cheaper too.
  20. Lol. Should have bought one from me, it comes with 5 pins and the air temp sensor. Where is this one from? Looks to me like an n15 pulsar afm.
  21. On a GTR it is on the drivers side, in front of the strut tower. Small silver box with 8 wires coming in. Can you take a pic of your bay?
  22. Glassylite kits are good. They come with nano sealant.
  23. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18674&cat=272&page=2 They are available cheaper but shipping may blow the price out. http://www.frsport.com/SUS-Power-LM-Panel-Filter-Replacement-Infiniti-G35_p_13154.html
  24. This is the issue we shouldn't have. The public system should be just as good as private, I just pay for it at tax time instead ffs. I could fix the public system overnight by banning companies asking for doctor's certificates for single sick days. Bloody stupid wasting thousands of hours of doctors time filling out stupid notes so employers feel better. Spend the money on Hospitals instead. Rant over....
