  1. The $880 highflow from Hypergear is just a basic bush core rebuild, the $1250 highflow is his SS2pu (300kw capable on 98) billet turbo. Both are good quality but you obviously need to supply your original turbo so it can be machined to suit the larger wheels. Just go with the smaller $880 one unless you plan to tune the car with an Emanage...
  2. Or the Turbosmart Kompact is cheap and works well, although the spring they ship with seems a little strong, and they have no adjustment other than to buy a lighter spring...
  3. Have you tried replacing the afm's temporarily? It sounds like one may have needed the soldering treatment, perhaps it is still shagged? I assume your intake is stock?
  4. I think they have all gone, have you tried Amayama? They weren't that expensive from Nissan as I recall.
  5. You could have simply blocked the BOV with a cut out coke can to diagnose the issue?
  6. I haven't changed mine, so I have no idea. If you would like a quick answer you should post this in the Stagea section...
  7. Go map sensor ecu and get the Tial race bov.
  8. Correct. Just ditch it. The Stagea's run these vac generators to suck the fuel over from the other side of the tank too. I didn't think it would be required in a 33 as they run a single tank behind the back seat don't they?
  9. Could also be the crank angle sensor. I have never worked on a NATS failure, but I have seen a V35 with a NATS fault, usually a mech would get an auto elec out to fix it.
  10. You caught it off the f**ker too?
  11. The tuner would set that up for his preferred resolution before tuning wouldn't he? Unless you plan to tune it yourself?
  12. Ok... Have they done Emanage ultimate tuning on an M35 before?
  13. Hire mig welder, squirt 1kg of molten metal into shattered spider gears... Profit?
  14. No point given... My $65 afm's seem better than the genuine Nissan ones so far. They can be shoved into any sized pipe you like.
  15. $90? Must be coming out off the same Chinese factory my aftermarket VQ ones come from for $65.
  16. The only issue with old stainless systems is they need to be cleaned very well internally before welding, as carbon will contaminate the weld. Mild systems are even worse as you have rust to deal with. For a cheap job any exhaust joint can mig a tip on it for you, if you have any issues finding someone reliable though, or you want a better quality job you can try dropping me a PM to see if i'm free sometime...
  17. The VQ AFM's are very similar to the R35 ones, and can be had very cheap these days. If there is data around for them they would be a no brainer over the Z32.
  18. Is there a spare injector output or something that can be used?
  19. I agree GTSBoy, I just don't believe people understand high velocity airflow very well. Imagine the airflow is water and you will perhaps realise the flaws in that design a little better.
  20. Perhaps, I want to thrash buggery outta it first at PI. haha.
  21. There are enough back seats for the both of you.
  22. Some dumf*k mechanic rattled the crank pully on without the key being aligned. Seized the oil pump. 2.3 stroker kit going in as we speak.
  23. It's not a GTR, he will probably blow you off. My suggestion, fix it yourself...
