  1. What's cheap these days? I paid 7k for my emo 7...
  2. It would vary dependant on the pipe you put it into though, wouldn't it.? A good tuner wouldn't need it, at a guess.
  3. Nah, I didn't get done. lol. Just giving Aayron crap. I am however sick as a dog, perhaps you can tell? ESP perhaps? FB is only there to stir up a hornets nest, poke it, then run away. True story.
  4. It is definitely one of the small chains between the cams. Just to test, can you try doing that with the blue cam actuator plugs unplugged? Where are you located?
  5. Wow, superconductorcooler...
  6. For a rough clean all you need is to spray it into a hole in front of the throttle while revving the car. The tube is pretty small. For a good clean, remove the parts and do it properly.
  7. Great price on the 300 there, much cheaper than my supplier, but then they never did like buying them in for me. I sell the e85 Walbro's for $200, why would you bother with anything else at that price, especially if you plan to run ethanol at any percentage.
  8. That is a DW200, how much is the 300? I can get a Walbro 460 e85 pump for that.
  9. Lowering the voltage to the pump will cause the current draw to rise, and perhaps cause the pump to stall/burn out. The voltage needs to be 12V minimum and switched as a square wave input (PWM) for the pump to last imo, although the Vipec could control a solid state relay at that frequency just fine at a guess.
  10. I can get a Walbro for under $100, the DW300 is twice that through VPW.
  11. I am sure they wouldn't be able to get the clamps on fast enough... It would be the judge saying that when I took the f**kers to court.
  12. DW are releasing an e85 400L pump also, but it will likely be twice the price of the Wally if the 300 is anything to go by...
  13. Thanks for the warning f**ker...
  14. I have personally installed 5 or 6 of them, and sold many more without any complaints. They are almost silent if installed correctly, more so than the old 255's, and are specifically designed for e85 use. It's a no brainer imo, as I am sure many people have told you already. Yes the fuel gets hot after a few hours on the dyno, but how is that the fault of the pump? It's the rail that is hot, why don't you look at super cooling the rail with liquid nitrogen or something.
  15. I have installed plenty of china coolers, some are good, some shit. It is very hard to tell from the picture obviously. I direct the M35 Stagea guys to HDI, they do some great products, but I think the Skyline kits go under the battery tray.
  16. The walkthrough is 2 posts up Charles. I must say, these foaming cleaners don't work as well on hard carbon deposits in direct injection engine heads, I ended up having to use gasket stripper and leaving it overnight, then scraping the crap off. Oven cleaner may have worked too but I didn't try it.
  17. I was making it easier for one of you blokes to make a saving...
  18. I will take the turbo mate, if it's still available...
  19. No worries Blake.
  20. I refuse to do them, as I don't have an oven large enough to pre-heat the plenum for decent penetration, and for the exact reason I mentioned above. Even welding in a secondary injector boss on my plenum was stressful enough for me.
  21. Yes, especially the GTR style solid screw in style of sensor. If you look at the aftermarket bosch style sensor it has vents and a small bulb which is isolated from the piping, this is what most people use for aftermarket intake air temp sensors on standalone computers.
