  1. I would copy and paste it but it is many pages long. Worth the read anyway...
  2. Trent needs to do training courses for the Chinese students going back home. So the belt was a couple of teeth out and it still made 434, nice one... I guess that is why you don't try and rush timing belt setups though. Shame on Springy...
  3. A milky residue will only tell you the oil isn't getting up to temp, common with short trips, low temp thermostats and winter weather. Here is an interesting read I found about oil thicknesses, not related to e85, just in general. http://www.evolutionoz.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=87122
  4. Very interesting read on oil if you have the time to read the article... http://www.evolutionoz.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=87122
  5. What's wrong with a local bolt shop?
  6. A good tuner probably won't touch it with the SAFC. Pretty sure Trent won't. Have a ring around perhaps, I would say most tuners will try and talk you into an emanage Ultimate at least.
  7. I see you have AF correction up, how much does it change on gas as the tank empties?
  8. It's quite easy to do by hand. I have done many. 1/8 BSPT.
  9. What's wrong with a semi, better than running around with a raging boner... US spec M1, isn't that a 0w? Go for it I say, see if you logic holds... I will stick to what works.
  10. In Skylines and C34's I generally use stainless hose clamps, and stuff pieces of intank fuel line between the pump and bracket to stop noise. Even the new 460L Walbro's are silent with this method.
  11. The only difference is the side the filter sticks out. M35 is gss342.
  12. Informeter, informeter touch or HKS obdlink are the only ones that work. For diagnostics, get the consult 3.
  13. Most of the turbine aftermarket pumps won't fare well at low voltage, some even stall. Running a pwm controller will help but it's a lot of cost, and for what gain? It would need to be ecu controlled to have any hope of controlling the mixtures... I would just run a cooler if you have fuel temp issues.
  14. Synx 3000 is definitely not a crappy oil. And I did mention stock M35... I would still run it in mine without hesitation. Whacky logic? Ok... Sure... There are plenty of Stagea's running around on it without issue. We are driving low priced cars now, I was offered a working Stagea for 6k the other day... If you feel the need to blow $170 on an oil change, go right ahead.
  15. Premium 100 is fine to run, you may save fuel, or it may be less efficient. I used to notice no difference.
  16. GSL rallysport would be the best place for disks imo.
  17. The ecu needs the o2 to self tune the mixtures, otherwise the tune will drift with the seasons. The place that sells me the AFM's may be able to supply us one, I will ask today, just need to find the part number if anyone has it handy...
  18. Just get an Informeter touch, or something similar. Great for that stealth look, and you get warnings, peak hold etc. The stock gauges are too small to be useful and are mounted poorly, hard to read imo.
  19. Lol, a silicone one is even worse than stock. I am making a few 80mm intakes tomorrow, I can rush you one if there is time...
  20. They won't make you sick like the van in Campbellfield, if that's what you mean...
  21. It is generally caused by uneven pad deposits, the disk may just need a skim, around $20 per disk.
  22. 10k? If you like... Will you be changing filters every 5? It's pretty small... For a stock M35 I believe GW synx 3000 is fine, dropped every 5k. At $22 a bottle you can't go wrong imo.
