  1. I just fitted an e85 Walbro 460 into a V8 Soarer, I could barely hear it. If you instal it correctly it will be quieter than most pumps out there, including the Nismo/Tomei. My twin 255 setup definitely heats the fuel on hot days, within two or three hours. No issues with the tank, just the pumps get a little noisy, and a little rail evaporation I think which makes re-starting take a little longer.
  2. I tried to test one at 80psi and it made some really weird noises. The Walbro ones are just better, and e85 safe. As they are $100 locally I don't know why you wouldn't just buy one here from a reputable supplier... Lest it fail on you at the worst possible time.
  3. I will be placing an order soon I think.
  4. It's gone already, but I can source another if you have issues finding one that fits. PM me. Proflow ones are 14mm.
  5. RB's oil surge standing still now?
  6. Always in for a good kebab... It's a dark carpark Platts, no-one will realise it isn't a 33.
  7. Should have let Jess assemble it Aaron.
  8. It's probably a 2 hour job including bleeding the cooling system. I assume they would replace the coolant too. Sounds a bit steep to me.
  9. Plattsy, Aldi have helmets on sale this week. $69.95 just for tight wads like you...
  10. Yep, straight 3 inch pipe ftw. Surprisingly quiet.
  11. HSV forum is that way. >>
  12. Birds only knows body oilz now...
  13. The forrester is tiny inside compared to the Stagea, either model... Take some for a drive is my suggestion. The M35 Stagea is definitely value for money at the price they are down to. There is also the newer VQ35 PNM35 04-07 to look at.
  14. Sorry Booki, I just checked and you are correct, the GW synx 6000 is indeed 5W40, I checked the old Sougi 6000 accidentally which is a 10w40 and the Synx 3000 which is also a 10w40. I haven't had any issues with any of these grades feeling lethargic, although I suspect the VQ's run a higher oil temp as standard.
  15. It looks like... oil. Sounds like your gauge is screwed, if you actually had 0psi oil pressure you would be posting in the blown engine thread. Aren't the stock gauges renowned for this?
  16. Can you send the pic to my email? [email protected]. I will post it up for you.
  17. I will check the condition as I may have to supply new Orings with them. The injectors were running fine when I removed them a few months ago.
  18. I have a set of VQ injectors here which are the same...
  19. Buy mine. Oh... I haven't built the motor yet...
  20. You need the consult 3 unit, and I have the software on my laptop. Would you like me to drop around one night? I can bring the cam sensors, I definitely have one, just not sure on the drivers bank sensor.
  21. The GW synx 6000 is a 10w40 though, at least the bottles I have here are.
  22. Just a light coat on the outside won't affect cooling at all.
