  1. I made one years ago, has a G25 wheels setup and a glass backed race seat. I loved it for rally games on the PS3, even got some stage records. You are correct, the pedal and wheel force can be higher than what you would expect from a car in similar situations. Anyone looking for a nice setup on a strong frame with wheels, the G25 and seat, let me know, I want to sell it. No room in the house for it anymore.
  2. It needs to be the same outside diameter or the clutches will load up. I think the manual states within 1.5% which is essentially varying tread wear.
  3. It looks like a much faster car/driver, was it in the wrong class? I wonder if he would have made it through the corner anyway...
  4. Need a link to cum stains thread... Naow.
  5. It's good for at least 6 months, probably years if stored well in a sealed container. I always have a jerry or two around, just incase I do a long trip, but there are more than enough servos around between united and caltex. (in melbourne) Plus the whale has an 80L tank.
  6. If the bottom ends are so strong, why do they limit the boost to 7psi? To the OP, pick a power level and we can recommend what you will need a little better. If you are happy keeping it under 250 or so kw, the stock VQ35 should hold up fine (as long as the tuner is good) Any more and you should probably look at a VQ25det, or building the engine imo if you want reliability.
  7. It was in worse condition than yours...
  8. Bloody pumpkin heads...
  9. ^ This. And no intercooler is just silly. Sorry for the short answer, I have to drop the kids off at school in the family wagon. Glad the cold starts are sorted on e85 now...
  10. Other than the drive interstate part, I have had no issues on ethanol in my daily, for over 4 years now. I just wish they would stick a few pumps up the main interstate routes to save me taking the missus car on long trips. (Melbourne does have the majority of the pumps though.) Mixing up water meth every few days would be a pain in the arse imo, plus having to store fairly large quantities of flammables around the house. I contemplated switching back to petrol with WMI but the benefits of e85 don't just stop at it's detonation protection... Do they...
  11. I have two here, both non Hicas. I think Iain had a spare one too, up in Sydney.
  12. Generally I would say, if you plan to spend 8k double it just in case. By the time the kit is installed, tuned etc it will cost you a few thousand more, then there is the unreliable bottom end to to either build or just pray it holds together... Why don't you look into dropping a VQ25det in there?
  13. Awww, thanks Craig.
  14. There is only one FPR, the other one is a dampener I am fairly sure. No idea why they have vac lines going to the dampeners though. The VQ25det runs a very similar setup as the 34 neo's, other than being twin rails.
  15. And it empties both gas bottles in no time. I need to drill the jets and hook up the natural gas... The barbie is next in line for some mods. haha.
  16. You are welcome around for pizza anytime Dave, as long as you bring the JD's.
  17. I thought everything was legal in Queensland, other than smoking...
  18. I assume it means there is 14mm slop in the rear bushes? Start by replacing the old rubber with poly?
  19. Like a VQ25det needs uprated parts. lol. Well, we did use ARP L19's to bolt the head down.
  20. After trying for months to contact anyone at Greddy about a simple output frequency adjustment, so I could use the Vmanage I bought on my VQ25det, I realised customer service/support was non existent. It would have opened up three more engines to their rather small support list. Big companies like Greddy are a pain to deal with imo.
  21. EMU = Emanage Ultimate for the slightly impaired amongst us.
  22. Here is the black proflow rail, this should fit perfectly under the 33 gtst plenum if you use the short 40mm ev14 1000's. You would have to run an aftermarket reg with it though. PM me for information.
  23. If the black crap was from your lines you would know about it. The lines would be hard and cracked. There is plenty of information out there suggesting the black gunk some experience is from the un-lined tanks some servo's are using, not from the car.
