  1. Rolling start? I can only do it in the wet, unless you had some really crappy tyres you would be struggling in the dry. Mine chirps into 2nd and 3rd in the dry, but only due to the stupid line pressure the current box is running. It's surprising how much power it can put to the ground actually.
  2. You haven't looked under the carpet... Our floor pan isn't flat, and what is shoved in there is quite light.
  3. Nope, I remember it required modification to fit too. It still doesn't wipe the top of the rear window.
  4. Get on the Spirit and come over Rich, an Emanage Ultimate would be your best option, or grab the Nismo ecu that's up for sale.
  5. What you really need is an 80mm to 3 inch joiner which I have never seen. I asked my supplier recently but I would need to buy them in bulk.
  6. I have the front and rear done, they are great but I still swear on Rainex.
  7. I agree, they seem to max out at around the same power so the sensor may be similar. Even the 35 GTR one may work. Or you could just piss it off and go MAP sensor...
  8. You can eventually slide it over, you may have to heat the silicone. The top part of my intakes is 80mm for this reason, that way I can use an 80mm silicone joiner.

  10. Did they remove the steering wheel to make it central rather than adjust the tie rods properly? Sounds like the sensor for the steering wheel is out.
  11. +1 for Street to Track
  12. It doesn't look split, my VQ was the similar and would only lift under boost and heat. Fixed by replacing with OEM metal head gaskets (using Hylomar gasket spray) and ARP L19 head studs.
  13. No problem, I will PM you my details.
  14. The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank, I would get a genuine Nissan replacement. It is quite difficult to replace, you will also need a new fuel tank O ring seal.
  15. You won't be changing the mechanical fuel pump when you find out the price of it... Do they still run an electric one in the tank? I assume so, but I wouldn't want to bugger the mechanical one with too much flow or pressure... Here is a previous thread on DD plugs. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/327052-spark-plugs-for-300gt/
  16. Is there a small yellow box to plug in under the seat? It should have come with the rail... Otherwise your airbag light will flash as the system will fault.
  17. If the boost goes above 22psi it will throw that code. You can trick the sensor into seeing less pressure with a small air pressure regulator as I have done, or perhaps simply blocking it will work?
  18. Lol, turbo rage.
  19. If you are running a 3071 on the stock computer it may be the plugs, the car would be running very rich. For a cheap dyno run, make your way to the Vic section and sign up for the RTR dyno day. You will get a printout of power and afr's I would assume. Drop in some time if you want to swap around some coils, I have a few here.
  20. For a track car it may be beneficial, as it should be more responsive when it's up in the revs.
  21. Is yours direct injection? I would be removing the throttle body and cleaning the butterfly first. Be careful not to open/play with the butterfly, just clean it. You will find the plenum is choked with carbon deposits from the EGR valve as exhaust gas is sucked into the plenum on cruise. If you have issues finding someone to remove the plenum and clean it give me a pm. Don't just squirt carby cleaner down the runners...
  22. I have a spare T3 10cm housing here Roy. It's off one of Stao's billet T67's, will it fit?
  23. I wouldn't be surprised if the stock pump outflows the 040. Go with the e85 safe Walbro 400Lph
  24. From 3 to 4 inch is a fair bit more area, I would have thought 400kw would be about right, with less resolution.
