It's not working then.
The carbon canister is only a part of the evacuation circuit that sucks all the fumes from the tank and into the manifold. There should always be vacuum in the tank, (which is sometimes mistaken for pressure) or the system isn't working as designed.
If you haven't changed it already, replace the fluid by filling until it overflows. Don't just top it up as you will mix the fluid.
Does your car have an LSD? (or Hicas?)
Location?
I think you should get it checked asap, sounds like the brake calliper is loose. You will need to get a Consult 3 reader on it to check out the attessa code. I have one here if you are local.
The converter and turbo need to be matched to each other.
If you want skids, you need to tune the engine for response. The stock turbo and converter should allow wheelspin off the line if it's tuned and setup correctly. It won't happen if you highflow the turbo though.
A shift kit is a must at much over stock power.
All a high stall converter will do for you is to lose you power, but it may help get you off the line a little quicker. If you have the stock turbo, leave the converter alone.
It helps with the transfer of heat, can't be a bad thing. I have a bottle to go in mine, I just have no idea how much coolant is in the system now, makes it hard to measure 5%.
I just assumed it was a fake, isn't the original engine worth more than the asking price for this car? Not that it would bother me, I would love to drive it either way but 50k for a 40 year old Datsun?
