Thats a pretty good result for 7psi. lol.
You did better than my first attempt, good to see the tune is working and the engine runs fine. How does it feel? That's much more important than the power figure...
They are better AFM's for reversion but they can still play up, depending on how the BOV is plumbed back. VQ/WRX/R35 sensors are all very similar, but the hassle with the inbuilt processor playing up doesn't seem worth the hassle, especially with no diagnostic/limp ecu protection.
I went MAP and never looked back.
I have some pretty blue silicone boots here, I may have a crack at doing the boot swap myself as both the ones on the wreck are split.
Can't be too hard.
I don't think there were any mats, the rest of the parts are somewhere in the back. It looks like I will have to pull it all out some fine day and sort through all the parts people have asked for. Will let you know soon.
I know there is a cargo blind, and the door switch, not sure about the mats...
So what's the deal, it can't restrict your vision or the cops get cranky?
What about all those GPS units that seem to be right in the middle of every windscreen these days?
I like it, should work well, but are you sure the panel filter is restricting flow? Mine is sitting at 350kw on a Blitz element atm.
It would be simple to test restriction without cutting the holes, just pop out your filter on the dyno and see what the gains are. I keep meaning to do it with my car but I always forget/run out of time.
Sorry, I can't see where the bov return enters the pipe, I would have thought straight into the front of that Y, pointing directly into the turbo would be the best spot...
No point Aaron, he has made his mind up that we are retarded internet dwellers, let him find out the hard way...
Honestly, good luck with it Steve, your mechanic mate is going to hate you after this...
