  1. Looks good Aaron. How many free photo shoots have you scammed now?
  2. Spun bearing, needs a stroker kit.
  3. I bought an evotard, just to be like Aaron. Very cheap daily for me. Now I have to get it running...
  4. Nice, equal second in modified AWD.
  5. I have all the bits here to do a 3.5 - 3 inch system bar the turbo flange.
  6. I might buy a wrecker motor to get it on the road, then rebuild this one myself. Can't be too hard can it? Only 4 cylinders.
  7. Good news, sounds like Aaron is paying for my stroker kit. lol.
  8. I don't know much about the evotards, how much is said stroker kit Dale? What are my options? Looks like I have a bit of research to do... Edit... http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/AMS-Mitsubishi-Lancer-Evolution-Evo-4-5-6-7-8-9-Stroker-Kit.html Cheap...
  9. I don't know mate, perhaps 3k? I could buy the forged parts to rebuild it for similar coin I think...
  10. I bought it to fix and sell for profit, but it's so clean... Track bitch? Perhaps...
  11. Not sure what i'm doing yet, the M35 is definitely handy, I just got back from Costco with a full load of groceries... I got the evo 7 extremely cheap, couldn't pass it up. Complete with bearing knock... The A4 is for the missus, she will be selling the 323, soon too I hope as i'm broke now. lol.
  12. How did you go with the coolant mod install Chris? I had to re-bleed the last V35 I did, but mine was fine today with only the initial fill.
  13. I have one here mate, it might need some syncro's replaced, not sure as I never got it in the car...
  14. Feels good to be driving the whale again. I got the box in, fitted the mishimoto radiator and filled up the fluids, damn this coolant mod is great. I took it for a short squirt around the block, the box felt nice and tight again, I still need to fit the new 30 row trans cooler before any track duty. Kewish want me to bypass the line pressure regulator for full line pressure then they say it should be fine at PI. As we used a spare box for the rebuild and stole all the good parts out of my old one, I found out the hard way there are two different dipsticks for the RE5. I had to shorten it by around 30mm and turn up a plate to slide into the gearbox. There must be a slightly different housing for later M35's...
  15. I was pushing them quite hard Ryan. I run the LFR7-AIX plugs now with no issues. They are the same as WRX etc, they will fit fine Josh.
  16. I haven't seen the G37 fuel pump assembly, but if it's the same as the 350z/V35 ones only the Walbro 342 style pumps will fit in the factory housing. I would go for the Deatschwerks 300L in that case. There are a few twin pump housings around for them, but perhaps you could modify the stock housing to fit the new Walbro 400L E85 pump? If your tuner doesn't like them, he is a year behind the times...
  17. I finally got the rebuilt gearbox bolted in tonight, can't wait to get it back on the road.

  20. This time, I think so. I fitted one to a V35 and it was very easy. Not like the last one I fitted to mine a few years ago, they have changed it to make fitment much easier.
  21. Sorry brah, cut and paste job. Looks fine on the black side...
  22. ^^ This. Around 5kg, probably 10 in the box...
  23. I ordered a second 40mm G35 Mishimoto radiator when I got mine sent over from the US, mainly to keep shipping low. If anyone is interested I am looking for what it cost me landed, $530 plus shipping to you. It fits V35 auto and manual including the thermo fan bolting straight up, and also the Stagea M35's, with slight trimming of the fibreglass around the cap. I will be fitting mine this weekend so I will be able to talk you through installation if needed. I have already installed on into a V35 auto without dramas. Great quality dual pass core with a lifetime warranty, perfect for FI or track work.
