  1. A location would definitely help...
  2. So the ecu coolant temp was fine? Did he check it when cold though?
  3. I have a new wireless reader that may work, if you want to drop in and try it. Still requires XP though.
  4. Mmm, big NoNo. lol. Just like the RE5 will only work with MaticJ... Don't worry, I too was sceptical initially, until my transmission specialist recommended it. Not like it will explode if you try it out...
  5. You need a strong actuator, but it needs to be installed after tuning preferably, (tuners don't like running it up on 20psi or more off the bat.) Once you have the stiff spring the electronic controller may have a chance of holding boost flat.
  6. Have you tried said dextron III in your manual trans? Or E-opinion? Perhaps a google search is in order...
  7. GSL rallysport have helped me out many times. They are an SAU trader.
  8. So wind up the dampening a few clicks. Do you want grip or a hernia?
  9. The sky could fall. Like the guys have said, drop all fluids and replace with good quality synthetics. Change the engine oil every 5000 and learn to do it yourself Allen so you know it's done properly. Last oil I bought was 20L of synX 6000 for $120, that will last you a year or so.
  10. Then take it to the mechanic? I quite enjoy spending my only day off working on the car... If you put thicker trans fluid you will make the syncro's worse, I said to use Dextron III Auto fluid which is much thinner. Don't slam the gears if you want it to last.
  11. The -9's are smaller and the most responsive of the lot. Better read the thread above and check the dyno results thread also.
  12. I can't think of anyone...
  13. So you want a 4 inch custom intake, made from 4000ks away with second hand bits? Sorry Justin, I can't work miracles. BTW, I am making 350kw on a 3 inch pipe, why do you feel 4 inch is required? Or a custom airbox for that matter? The 80mm one above will do you fine. If you're running map sensored can't you just vent the bov?
  14. The gearbox would shift better with trans fluid. (dextron III) Whether it's too late for that, who knows. The fuel sender probably needs a clean, 10 minute fix. Perhaps you should sell the car to someone willing to maintain it?
  15. I didn't cheap out Ryan, the V1's were the only struts available when I bought them nearly 4 years ago... (I was the first customer here I think) Still going strong. I have a shift kit here, $300. Just take it to MV for fitting.
  16. I saw them on egay, there are also silicone steering rack boots... Don't know sizes sorry.
  17. Coolant bypass mod is on its way buddy. Get me some more installation pics if you can...
  18. I think Iain has forgotten. lol.
  19. That is the cheapest option, the lower bend still seems to suck shut at over 250kw though.
  20. There are at least two restrictive cats on your car, one in the dump and one or more in the front pipe. Which parts were Sinergy replacing exactly? PM me if you would like a quote for my proven dump/front pipe design.
  21. I thought you would have painted that yellow by now Trev. lol.
  22. Want me to send an alloy one over Andrew? The silicone ones are actually softer and suck in worse, especially when hot.
  23. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Violence-Super-Fan-Temp-Controller-3-For-Thermo-Fans-/150937504748?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2324938bec&_uhb=1#ht_500wt_1414 That is the one I just bought, it has two sensors and can turn the fans on with either temp I think. Not as good quality as the other one I sold Dale though by the looks of it but I won't know how it works for another few weeks.
  24. So it all works fine? Good to hear Dale. I should fit mine...
