  1. It made barely any difference Aaron, the dyno result was from two different AR rear housings if I read it right. Stao, were they 20psi actuators?
  2. You got Stagea envy nummers? Jelly or just trolling?
  3. I'm making 350 on a 3 inch Stao. How many installs can actually fit a 4 inch intake anyway? Not very stealth...
  4. Save your coin. Perhaps put it into a 3 inch exhaust instead, that way it's done for when the turbo/supercharger kit comes.
  5. Looks like the sheath on the coaxial is cut at the plug end, joining it back should be enough but re shielding it would be best (somehow). Let me know if you want the spare knock cable expressed buddy.
  6. Too fast for the missus buddy? This one will sell quick. Very responsive for the power, well worth a test drive.
  7. I used to do component level electronic repair but this is out of my league, it is potted in a soft silicone and makes getting to the board difficult without damaging it. It is definitely not designed to be repaired, only a couple of components can be de-soldered anyway. The circuitry would smooth the signal and probably adjust the airflow voltage dependant on temp and perhaps air pressure. It would make manufacturing the ecu and tuning easier.
  8. Make sure you use some oil and high speed on the drill, otherwise it will grab and rip your arm out of its socket.
  9. If replacing the afm fixes the problem then I guess the afm's are faulty. As far as I know there is no repairing them, I have tried and failed. Grab one of these guy's old ones and have a crack if you like Leon but they are more complex than you think. Like I said, the best option would be to replace it with a more reliable unit, yes the emanage ultimate does have various maps for z32 afm's etc I believe...
  10. The best option would be to buy the plugin Fcon for sale and go map sensored. I wonder if the v35 or r35 afm may be an upgrade, do they have have a longer lifespan?
  11. Larger gap = better burn = more power. I had no issue running 2.5mm gap on melted iridiums and VQ coils, it felt very strong still. I have run many lean cruise tunes, up over 18:1. The exhaust temps are higher but still under 700 degrees from my experience. It does feel quite soggy as you lean it off, forcing you to feed on the throttle more and probably using a similar amount of fuel. The best way to gain back the low end would be higher compression, 8.5:1 is never going to feel good NA with e85. 12:1 would be perfect I believe, with 15-20psi keeping the turbo in its highest efficiency.
  12. I don't know where you got that idea Aaron.
  13. Nissan? Its usually the best place to get parts for Nissan's.
  14. You want to remove it? What for?
  15. What size is the gate and what brand? I could spin up a cap on the lathe and send it express, but I would need dimensions. I do have a Tial 44 here at the moment... That said I could also turn up the replacement seat. lol. How long will the replacement seat take to get there?
  16. Interesting. Do you happen to know the separate lengths of the front/rear pieces of the shaft? The 350Z manual carbon one piece tailshaft is 152cm...
  17. Not as far as Wakefield. I am trying to get the auto rebuilt by then, I have a chance at winning the championship if I get some decent points. lol.
  18. I think I can get a Walbro 342 for under $100 now. Direct replacement for ours.
  19. You have the special edition RB20 M35? Don't try and remove the front wheel shafts, remove the front shaft from the transfer case to the front diff.
  20. Obviously not in Vic.^^ Run a vented screamer or loud system down here and you will get anal raped by the cops, making you the homo. Varex mufflers work surprisingly well to quieted the exhaust, and can be made instantly silent when required. I have had no issues with mine and any problems I have heard from others were resolved by Xforce quickly. As far as power goes, this 3.5 inch Varex muffler made 30kw more than the 3.5 inch Hooker muffler I had on last, due to the Hooker having a 3 inch internal restriction. The Varex is also much quieter with the flap open. Stop bashing a product you clearly know nothing about guys.
  21. You got a better standalone option? Its a good price considering it comes with the software/dongle...
  22. Can't they just use one of the petrol tankers compartments? I agree, it wouldn't sell very fast and would probably suck in moisture, ruining the quality over a few months/years until it was used.
  23. I always thought Nissan were a little mad to use the pre turbo temp signal from the afm for correction, especially as the Stagea runs 1 bar stock. If there were no calculations going on inside there would be no reason to complicate the sensor with the electronics. What is the failure rate of the GTR afm's now they are getting older?
  24. Where are you located? It could get expensive to ship the whole interior...
