  1. It should work well in a larger pipe if you can re-program the voltage curve and retune for it. It must adjust the airflow signal dependant on temp as the iat sensor is built in, perhaps even pressure? (This is a VQ25det afm.)
  2. I have a full interior for sale in leather with electric/heated seats, are you looking to upgrade the whole lot?
  3. If it is anything like the VQ afm's... They have a microprocessor inside them and fail regularly.
  4. So can't you just space the rail out a little?
  5. So is the Sard rail 14mm? Injectorsonline will be able to help you with the parts you need but they will need more info.
  6. There is a valve spacer missing, it takes up the space you can see and sits between the gate and manifold. Is it missing?
  7. Plenty more parts required yet, and I need a hoist.
  8. It removes the intrusion bar and uses it's existing bolt holes.
  9. There are no grooves, they just push back in. Make sure you keep an eye on the fluid reservoir as Alex said.
  10. There are airbag kits available in Japan for the M35 Stagea. Look on Import monster.
  11. F**k $18K for 200sx... I got it for a lot less than that Aaron.
  12. It would have to be under 3L for the class I want to be in, plus I want to see what the little VQ can do. A VQ30det would be nice though, easy to wire in and tune too, but it won't be much different to the 2.5det in terms of drivability or max power imo.
  13. Sorry about Craigs running commentary.
  14. Even running 18:1 I never used anywhere near the same amount of fuel as 98, perhaps you could use a mix? Just run a 20L surge tank like me.
  15. Clutch is ordered. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/nismo-clutch-flywheel-kit-nismo-super-coppermix-twin-nissan-350z-z33-skyline-v35-350gt-vq35de-p-1209.html VQ35 is gaids unless forged. Is there something you feel the stock VQ25det isn't giving me Ryan? I thought it was doing pretty well... I will be winding the boost into it now the box will take the abuse, 400kw shouldn't be a problem from the GTX3076 once the power leaching auto is gone.
  16. What do you want to do? Lower the car? There is a good chance your shocks are stuffed anyway, why don't you get some BC coilovers from Just Jap...
  17. Whilst I would love a G4 extreme there is no VQ25 base map, which means no cams. Link didn't want to help unfortunately, nor Haltech. Not enough of a market. I will have to wait until the VQ35 goes in then get the plugin. It would require either extensive floorpan modifications or lengthening of the gearbox to space the transfer case out. Also the cut and shut bell housing. It would be expensive either way as you cant get a good box for less than $4k, this whole kit cost me $2500 including the V35 console. The pallet is on it's way from Qld, should be here in a couple of days.
  18. Not sure yet, a week or two? I will need a twin plate clutch too, I doubt the stocker will last long. lol.
  19. Yes, the only part I still require I think. Worst case I could buy the handbrake assembly from Nissan I guess but if anyone knows of a manual V35 wreck about, let me know please. May require the V35 brake pedal itself also, just to make the pad smaller, although the existing handbrake pedal fits no problem...
  20. After melting another gearbox at Phillip Island last weekend and generally getting sick of the auto I have decided to go rear drive for the time being. The decision wasn't rushed, I have been having many trans issues recently due to clutch wear, clogging of the filters and it will require another rebuild very soon. Rather than throw more cash down the drain I just purchased a 350Z 6 speed for a reasonable price, and it includes most of the parts I will require to convert to manual. Hopefully no headaches with fitting it but it's anyone's guess what the car will do with the gearbox and tcu missing in action. As long as the throttle and cams still operate I will be happy. The speedo should still work fine as it works off the wheel sensors, as should the abs etc. This is a similar kit to what I bought, I doubt the carbon tailshaft will bolt in though. I will have to use the yolk and cut the Stagea one down I guess. Is there anything else I have forgotten? Fitting the clutch master should be interesting.
  21. Not much point if it cant hold the power, even if I could fit the PM35 box. I'm not going down the 33/34 GTR box either, a whole can of worms. As the easiest, most logical and cheapest option I decided on the 350Z box. At least I can swap back if I ever need to... But I will be leaving the console handbrake. Rather than clutter this Attessa thread I will start another to discuss it.
  22. Shifts are fast but the time it takes to decide is a joke. Usually it just bounces off the 7500 limiter on wot, not good at this power. Plus the gearbox won't drop in to a lower gear until the shaft speed has slowed enough, it's horrible changing gears in corners... Added to the usual crappy reaction times, the box can only do 2 laps of PI without overheating, and causing weird transmission faults.
  23. Do you have a pic? What's left on it? How bad is the front damage?
  24. I'm sick of dropping the shaft for dyno runs. lol.
