  1. I have a set on my wreck but they are already sold. Looks like you priced the gold BC BR's. There are cheaper red ones for sale at JJ too... I think they sell for $1100.
  2. Agreed, it would be almost impossible with the swept back GTR endtanks too.
  3. +1^^ So were mine. Go the BC's. I did.
  4. Pop a cooler hose and just drive home like a boss, not laying on the road under the car wondering why you were running 30psi anyway...
  5. It should get close, I have fitted one recently, tuned to around 300kw (in Stagea housings.)
  6. +1 ^^ I have bought many turbo's through Paul. Great to deal with.
  7. I'm using one of these stainless Vband housings, they definitely flow well. I assume the T3 one is similar. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Stainless-GT3037-GT3076R-V-band-Clamp-Turbine-Housing-V-Clamp-and-Flange-/150879138243?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item232118f1c3#ht_1355wt_1159 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Stainless-GT3037-GT3076R-T3-Flnage-Turbine-Housing-V-clamp-and-Flange-/150879138493?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item232118f2bd#ht_1355wt_1159 I haven't tried the Kando ones but they are certainly cheap. 0.73ar is a happy medium for a 2.5L...
  8. Ooo, nice one Tony. e85 I hope?
  9. Black arx turning into Olive road Lyndbrook this morning. And I saw Darren's black ARX at Frankston today too.
  10. It's Darren, I was there and saw his sweet ARX today also. Mmm Brembos...
  11. Nice, that would be the closest United e85 pump to the Hume right? I will be driving up to Sydney on e85 next weekend so I will fill up there on my way. Thanks Paul. I wonder if we could get a google map together with all the e85 servo's in Australia listed, I have to find the Sydney outlets and it's a pain to look up each one, plus most of the location lists are behind... I replaced all my lines with Teflon braided hose, it wasn't cheap, I ran the stock lines for over 2 years though without any issues. Later cars will be less susceptible to ethanol corrosion as materials have become more tolerant.
  12. You have a laggy turbo that isn't matched to your stock converter, you need a stock RB25 turbo or equivalent. Be happy with the way you have built it... or just sell it to some sucker.
  13. I agree, that's why I changed mine back to stock. What I said was the stock converter should slip to around those revs. Sounds like you need high comp 3L turbo Shaun.
  14. The converter should fix that, the engine should rev to 2500 and boost almost instantly I would have thought. Going to a smaller turbo wont help move the whale...
  15. My entry was confirmed by email yesterday too, as scrutiny opens at 7:30 I guess we would need to be there around that time, especially with up to 140 entrants. I will be meeting other drivers at McDonalds Cranbourne at 6am if you want to get a quick bite and head down with us.
  16. Haha, I will let you know mate, but I don't even have a passport. lol. Glad it's all well, update us next week on the consumption. Did you notice the extra pump noise?
  17. It would depend how they are stored, cool dry and wrapped would be best. I would be looking to import some newies or speak to Traction, they did me a great deal on a set of AO48's...
  18. Check the Hypergear thread before you buy anything.
  19. We are slowly catching up Wolverine.
  20. There are only two roads in the whole country... Daym. V35 with 38 inch muddies required. lol.
  21. The NGK suggestion is the same as what I use, other than the gap. As our coils are strong the 1.1mm gap is fine on the LFR6AIX-11's. I buy mine from the US, and I buy at least 2 sets at a time to make the shipping cheaper. Perhaps you can go halves with someone local? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/160704553314?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I found the IKH22's fail too quickly, the iridium tip had completely melted away within 20,000ks, the NGK's seem to handle the heat much better.
  22. My suggestion is to drive them both, I think you will find the NM35 will be the better buy now you can pick them up as cheap as the older C34 models. PM35 is still a little pricey but you get the 3.5L VQ35.
  23. +1. Won't end well I'm guessing.
