  1. Lol, wat? The Greddy unit linked can spin around to any angle, and allows the lines to go into any of the four holes. It's a high quality thermostat too. It uses 1/8th bspt fittings for the sensors which is standard.
  2. Trolling as usual.
  3. Was there an issue before you swapped all the parts? Mine drank water like that for a year until I replaced the head gasket due to a small split.
  4. Possibly, the o2 sensor should try to compensate to some extent, but generally the Walbro's will make the car run like crap when the pump goes into its low voltage setting. Hopefully the rewire makes a difference for you. Have you checked all the breather and cooler piping for leaks? Perhaps a pressure test of the intake is in order...
  5. After seeing the amount of crap inside the plenum on the VQ25DD I have here, there is no way I would be letting any of it go down into the engine. I would be removing the entire plenum and runners and cleaning them properly with carby cleaner, off the car. Be careful not to play with the throttle plate when you clean it, you may cause high idle problems.
  6. I could run 500hp without a cooler, it isn't the flow we are worried about but the efficiency of the cooling and the pressure drop over the core. Bar and plate I assume?
  7. The factory pump may have been shagged. Not saying this is the only issue but I have seen many problems with the Walbro's run at lower voltage. The power wires to the pump at the tank end are black with a yellow line (+ I think) and green with a red line (negative). They are the two thicker wires to the plug.
  8. Did you do a search before fitting it? There are a few mods required to the pump for it to fit like a glove. I generally use the 342. The reason your car is running like crap is probably because you never ran direct power to the pump. Walbro pumps require 14v continuous, and the factory fuel pump only gets 8v or so at idle and cruise. Use the original pump wires to power a relay and run some nice thick power wire down to the pump. Make sure you fuse it.
  9. What fuel pump did you install? New stock injectors?
  10. To be using over twice the fuel you must be blowing a fair bit of black smoke out the back, either that or you have a fuel leak...
  11. Mine bolts under the intrusion bar allowing plenty of room for coolers and fans. Not sure how well it would fit with the stock front bar though. +1, it would have to be a good core and cheap to beat the HDI, it's a quality item with cooler piping that actually fits.
  12. There are two gearbox temp sensors, but they would only go back to the gearbox controller. I know what you mean though, there is definitely a connection between gearbox temps and the throttle/boost.
  13. There is a large rubber bung behind the battery, pull some wire through it and run your wires beside the oem loom so water doesn't enter the cabin. Make sure you fuse the power from the battery and run a direct earth back for a good circuit.
  14. Jez, you need to find a way to pump that power back into the grid. lol.
  15. Has the list been updated? I paid on the 16th...
  16. He picked up the other pair of tyres yesterday, seeing as your dad stole the other pair Aaron, and I need a matched set...
  17. It definitely sounds like a fault, no way you could be using twice the fuel without the ecu protecting itself. Does the engine light light up at any time?
  18. Sounds like the filter is clogged in the bottom of the pump...
  19. The car would be heat soaked after a drive like that. Would need to trailer it or stay the night. Would they let us set up a tent?
  20. No, his just got better. Re-read the above.
  21. I can send a dump pipe up for Craig to fit if you give me some notice, no point putting the stock one back on... I can possibly help with housings too, although the turbo I have here is perfect and I would prefer not to split it open.
  22. It's quite a job, worse than the GTR turbo's I am swapping at the moment though. Can you drive it to Sydney? PM Craig. (Jetwreck) If not, I hope you find a good mech. He will hate you after this job. lol.
  23. I will grab the mounts, PM me your bank details. I may be interested in some other parts too but without prices it's a little hard to decide...
  24. So I will most probably be coming up for the skyline nationals, where is the closest United with e85? Or any e85 pump for that matter...
