Definitely need the oil cooler for the track, as well as a huge trans cooler and the power steering. Not much room left in the front of mine now. With a massive 30 row oil cooler that has a 14 inch thermo mounted to it, my oil still got to 110 degrees at PI, the water hovered around 91 with the stock radiator.
My car let me down today. The throttle became unresponsive and I had to crawl home at 20-30kph. (after pulling the throttle plug for some more revs.) I suspected Leon's cruse at first so I disconnected it, no change. Swapped the throttle pedal over, still the same. I even pulled the ecu plug and checked the loom, no problems. It turned out to be the throttle body itself which is unusual, I haven't heard of one failing before. At least I have a few laying around I guess. The best part is it idles on 700 again instead of 1000 revs. Win.
