  1. Ripped off. lol. Shame I couldn't stay there longer myself and see the Supra rip 560kw. Midnight was long enough to hang around though...
  2. That would definitely help with the reversion but I hope you aren't chasing big power. The silicone 3 inch bends can suck closed at less power than the stock rubber ones, mainly due to the intake being so close to the exhaust manifold.
  3. No, but most will have a 0-5v input if you use the display's outputs.
  4. I have found the box shifts perfectly if the temps are normal, if its too cold it wont change into gear at full throttle and if its too hot its not happy either. I was going to try and trick the gearbox temp sensors so it thinks everything is fine but I guess it may cause issues. Best bet is to put an inline thermostat so the box comes up to temp quickly (due to the radiator) then diverts the fluid through the trans cooler once its up to temp. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LONG-OIL-THERMOSTAT-COLD-CLIMATES-OC-708-4739-/350566704951?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item519f676737#ht_820wt_1159
  5. As Paul said, there are no gains going to a pod. Just get a dry blitz filter or similar for the stock airbox. Its good for 400kw.
  6. Would my BC ones work? If not I have a few adjustable ones here somewhere. "ide rather not use a screw driver and a hammer lol " You're a butcher Aaron... lol.
  7. So the AFM was simply too close to the bov outlet? Do you have any pics of before and after by any chance?
  8. I backed 3 clicks out of the front shocks tonight, it drove much better without crashing over potholes and following camber in the road like it was. I will leave the swaybar on hard for now until I get the front diff back in.
  9. Factor a turbo rebuild into it as they have a habit of failing, other than that it should just be the usual bushes etc. I wouldn't let any mechanics near mine personally.
  10. Lol. Anyway Sam, the holes aren't drilled right through, they go down to a slot which has to be machined in on a lathe, at the height of the lower compressor blades. Perhaps Hypergear could get the slot and holes machined for you? Or can you use a gt35 front and bore it out? I've got a chinese .7 surge ported one here you can buy cheap. What it will do for performance is anyones guess, do you have surge at the moment you're trying to get rid of or is it purely for the noise? Perhaps a folded gum leaf in front of the compressor would work well?
  11. The Walbro pumps require constant 14v, did you upgrade the power wires and fit a relay?
  12. It looks like it would hit 20psi before 3600 with better boost control/wastegate. Is it a .63 rear or .82? Internal gate too i'm guessing? I guess it could flow 200kw by 4k on e85? I will let you know soon, mine should be here in 2 weeks.
  13. I have seen this style of silencer before, you should be able to slide a die grinder in there with a cut off wheel and just trim it out. It is manufactured into the muffler to help quieten it down.
  14. Daniel, I found the sensors on ebay for around $300 delivered, I'm fairly sure you can buy the readout and use its 5v output for fuel temp and more importantly, 5v output for ethanol percentage as a signal to most ecu's with a 0-5v input spare, am I correct?
  15. I almost think this has a more pronounced effect on handling than the swaybars. Its almost like I need to put the stock swaybar back on for a little flex. lol.
  16. You could always drop the boost you skirt.
  17. Yep, I can help. You have a split pulse housing and twin gates? Nice. What turbo? PM me if you like.
  18. ^ This man knows. I saw less energy off boost so the turbo took a little longer to spool. With a good tune it might pull up even with 98, with more compression it would blow it away though. Not many tuners are keen to tune a high compression engine on e85, most I ask say i'm mad. lol.
  19. Its more likely the injectors, perhaps the spray pattern is crap or they are gummed up? Get them flow tested when they do the pump test...
  20. Looks great Dale, that style of round muffler is always going to have a strong note. I bet its not as loud as mine is atm.
  21. The grey was similar to mine, the other US carpet colours would look good with the ARX style interior I think. They could extend the mat but it wouldn't have the seat split. You could measure the height and width and let them know, or I could drop back in one day for them to cut out a jig...
  22. Dynamat has been shipped, also they sent out the colour charts. The 4 colour sample is for the upgraded US made carpet.
  23. What are you on about Aaron? You want my turbo, right? I guess I will have to start a GTX3076 thread now.
  24. I think the response comes from playing with the timing as the turbo spools, not the e85. I didn't notice any difference either.
  25. Not quite but it definitely tightened everything up, it could all change when the diff goes in so I wont spend much time mucking around with settings. Got to get cracking though, there is a Phillip Island track day coming up in June...
