  1. +1 Don't you have the old engine and loom still? I could be interested in both.
  2. Come down Nick and I will make a 100mm alloy exhaust for you instead.
  3. Mine is lasting well so far, haven't had any bad batches of Caltex yet either according to the wideband anyway. I did hear it pinking once on cruise one of the hot days we had, but its running 18:1 there for economy atm. Im not scared about the little VQ, seen many stock VQ30det's pushing big numbers (400-450kw) and the VQ25det runs the same rods, the main worry is the auto. Either way, I have spare engines and a trans here. I doubt 400 is attainable with the auto, (I would be happy with 350) but a built RB with a GTX3076 would sh*t it in. I will check out the HTA76 further Lithium but I think the compressor housing is a little too big. Does it still run the Garrett rear?
  4. I thought the same thing, the GTX3076 compressor flows nearly 5 lbs more than the GT35 on paper so 400atw should be theoretically possible with enough boost.
  5. Ive been running a s/h Grex thermostat plate, it and a chinese cooler have been installed for over a year without issues. I just tapped threads into the 2 blanking bolts for pressure and temp.
  6. Birds, SN rated and no mention of E85 vehicles on the front? Sougi 6000 had ethanol/methanol use listed on the website, surely this one does? Still got 6 bottles on the wall.
  7. Theres plenty of injector info in the forced induction section, spend a few hours searching and learning what works and what doesnt. Personally I would go with the ID/xspurt 1000's if you can get them in there, or the shorter 750's. Where are you located?
  8. Damn, was hoping you were doing an AWD datto 1600 conversion. Thats what I would like to do...
  9. Just booked my kit with Roktex, thats how easy it should be...
  10. No proof until you get on the dyno guys. lol.
  11. 6mm wall on 1.5 inch pipe is bloody heavy. Rollcage?
  12. U-neek bending in Dandenong south have done seamless chromoly for me before, not cheap though for small quantities. They use hydraulic pressure in their mandrel process from what I understand. Worth a call anyway. How thin is the wall? http://www.uneek.com.au/
  13. One of the stagea blokes is having an issue with his AEM wideband also, lasted a few months.
  14. One of the stagea blokes is having a similar issue with his AEM wideband also, lasted a few months.
  15. Mmm, I wonder if the radar cruise is able to be swapped over...
  16. I would fill it using the above info, put 4.7L or 5L in after draining.
  17. Is it the wrong dip stick? Perhaps an RB30 one?
  18. What a load of crap, I have been running my innovative for over two years on the same sensor and it still reads perfectly, they obviously fixed any issues with them a long time ago. I even bought one cheap, ($50) from the for sale section and got it working again, then modified it with a USB input. Its been a good unit, if a little too fast in reacting according to my tuner. He would prefer to have the output smoother while tuning but I can only set it up for 1/3 second refresh max in the software.
  19. You gone an bust your box Aaron? Stop slamming her so hard.
  20. Dirty airflow sensor? I doubt its the wideband although I havent used the Uego. Can you get on a dyno for a run?
  21. No mate, I was waiting for you... to send me a copy of your map. Whats the issue with going to 1000's off the bat?
  22. I should have it together in a month or so mate, its about three days work to replicate the existing piping and fit it all. I have a goal of 350awkw through the auto, not sure if it will end in tears but I have a spare engine and trans now as backup.
  23. Yup, seems to work well on the Kando turbo's I have been modifying. Can you find a better spot to put it in our engine bay?
