  1. No worries, can you come and solder mine, it's failed again. Lol.
  2. The fuel is fine, I just have to add a little 98 as it's tuned for eflex. Get on to it if you're close by. long drives I just take a Jerry with me.
  3. Why would anyone buy a second hand Kando? They are $700 delivered...
  4. Are you asking where your BOV is? You dont have one do you?
  5. I just use standard Norma style worm clamps. If youre pipes are blowing off it means there are other issues, not enough ridge to stop them poping off or oil on the rubber? Mine holds over 40psi when hot with no issues now.
  6. They price it 10c less than unleaded whereas Caltex price it 20c less. Obviously you will get fewer K's from the United too, but it saves me a 20K trip to the closest Caltex.
  7. Its not on their site yet. http://www.unitedpetroleum.com.au/store-locator/fuels/E85 Plenty in Melbourne, time for Sydney to play catchup.
  8. Lol, I hope not. That would change the game.
  9. Get them to pay for my spare turbo. Win for you and me. lol.
  10. I have a HKS solution for now unfortunately, yet to get it running though. I reached the limits of the EMU the day it was installed but its done me well. Would love a Link G4 Extreme... Got one laying around I can try out?
  11. QFT. The main benefit of ethanol being it burns slower than 98, right through the crank's downward travel. Thats where the extra torque comes from. I hope you have a good tuna picked out...
  12. Turbo be dead. Get on to Jetwreck... He can save you. Edit, its either highflow time, or I have a stock turbo here if needed.
  13. My second gear is a bit harsh, nothing to worry about though. I wish they were all like that.
  14. I will give you $1.10 a litre for it Trent. lol.
  15. They look suspiciously like the "Nismo" ones a few of the guys have been buying which test at 300cc.
  16. I had plenty of cold start issues in Melbourne when using 85%, mainly due to the electronic throttle and not being able to flood the car on startup. I had to fit a secondry petrol primer to get it to fire in winter. No issues like that on Eflex and its cheaper so I know what I will be running in a few months.
  17. Im sure a lot of the feedback on rod strength from the US is just bad tuning. Too much timing and det is what kills rods not boost, E85 will help with both issues. I guess my motor is just super strong right? Even though the rods look very similar in size? The amount of times I have heard "dont run more than 20psi" or "dont use a p1ggyback computer" now it just makes me smile.
  18. Meh, 7psi? Get some e85 in the tank and dont put too much timing in, you should be able to push it to 1 bar no problem.
  19. No problem Kelvyn, cant have you guys blowing unburnt 98 out the back, it might choke the wildlife. lol. As it turns out, Prince Skyline had the same issue. Check your clamps guys...
  20. It could have possibly saved your engine though, at 20c less than unleaded it works out to around the same price as 98 to run in my car.
  21. I have been filling at United for the last 3 tanks, its more expensive at 10c less than unleaded and then I need to put a little 98 in also to drop the ethanol percentage until I get a tune. It definitely smells better though. I will let you know when I get it back on the dyno.
  22. You want a cat back system or just replace the rear muffler? I may sell my Legalis system if you twist my arm hard enough. I can also do you a front pipe perhaps. Where are you located? Here is the system when it was fitted on Cam's car.
  23. Heres my pics guys and girls. Great day had by all. I managed to get 3 of the guys following me up mountain hwy to Olinda and over the mountain on the way back. lol. Talk about the long way home.
  24. As the pistons are alloy and hard anodised they probably wont need replacing.
  25. Nitrous kit... or 2.
