  1. Just wait, theres always 33 gtr boxes poping up. I picked up mine for $300 with the transfer case and they are only a grand to rebuild if the syncros are worn.
  2. Just saw this... The M35 Stagea rear diff is 3.0:1, I have no idea how different it is but it looks just like the r200's perhaps even the internals can be swapped? I will have spare front and rear ones as i'm changing to 3.5:1 from 350z.
  3. Already helped him out mate.
  4. What for iain?
  5. What are you using to measure the boost increase? The BOV should make no difference to the boost, thats the wastegate's job. List your mods again?
  6. So its cranking over fine? If theres no spark it could be the crank or cam sensors playing up but without the error codes it can be difficult to diagnose. If you want a quick fix get it towed to Nissan, if you have an import freindly one locally, otherwise we could work you through the basics. If youre in NSW drop in and see Jetwreck, he had similar issues.
  7. Just get him to mark and cut it, then re-weld when it gets here.
  8. Until I can scrape up the coin for a G4 extreme or PS2000 I wont be able to just rock up and fill like you mate, but with the two tunes on the EMU I should be set for Summer on United or Winter Eflex without having to return to the old petrol primer setup I had for coldstarts. Even less K's to the tank? Bring it on I say. On topic, I really need an oil change. What are some good oil analysis companies to ring? (I will try lubemate on Monday) I have been sold on the Sougi 6000 a year now and would like to see what comes from this esther breakdown talk. My gut tells me the engine is loving it.
  9. Cant weld alloy to stainless unfortunately, the bolts you need are pressed in but they have a head on the back so they cant pull right through. You should be able to get a replacement or someone could make one for you on a lathe? Worst case just put a bolt up from the arch.
  10. By the way, I have found 3 local United servo's selling e85 in the last month. Is this coincidence or are they trying to out do Caltex? Looks like I need a retune.
  11. Blank, you mean cutting our own holes and reaming? Surely the Neo rail injector holes line up the same as the side feeds. Just use the Neo reg and dampener setup?
  12. I was trying to get a sample kit from one of the local suppliers and their websites are crap. Anyone have a quick number to call? Probably a bad time of year.
  13. He is Scott, i'm getting him around here tomorrow to get the dump/front/screamer made. I will weld the turbo to his manifold so he can't change his mind again. lol.
  14. Soooo... Wheres the pics...
  15. I ran 610 deka's for a year with no idle or any other issues, just like the Bosch 1000's. I guess it comes down to the tuner in the end...
  16. It means you need the largest pipe possible into the turbo to give it the best chance to flow the most amount of air. Why stop there? These are the twin pods for an 800hp Supra intake I just finished. The airbox will get air forced from the duct on the front bar.
  17. Sounds like a good excuse for some Bride rails and seats. On mine the rails were a little loose, sliding back and forth a couple of mm.
  18. Why stop there? I had an actuator hose blow off the other day and heard the overboost warning a few times, these GTX3071 compressors will run at 2.8 bar no problem by the way. I'm starting to think wastegates are over-rated. I'm trying to get the most out of everything, why not max out the turbo's capabilities too.
  19. How is that good advice? I still dont see how 550's could come close to flowing enough, even at stupid rail pressures. Like I mentioned Artz, chase up a Neo rail and get some ev14's shoehorned in there.
  20. Eat some weaties and come around, I have a stock system you can try and pick up if you like. lol. At a guess an aftermarket system would be around half the weight.
  21. ^ I agree. Higher pressure, less flow. I run 1000's at 70% and 300kw although I suspect the auto is sucking a fair bit.
  22. Damn Ali, you've had nothing but bad luck with this one. I saw the car at Edge when you were sorting the key dramas and I was very impressed. Good price for it too mate, I hope it sells quick for you.
  23. I have a set of 17's here I want to sell cheap with tyres, prefer not to lend them out as the tyres are almost new but I guess we could work something out. PM me if you like.
  24. They made a huge difference to the turn in, not sure how much extra angle they give but it feels great in corners now. Still yet to fit the camber bolts, or get the alignment done...
  25. Dave does the dry sump have a breather? Most of the ethanol in my oil ends up in the catch can, like I said as long as your oil temps are high enough for long enough most of the dilution will evaporate anyway. So the moral of the story is change your oil more often? Nothing new there...
