  1. 18 psi with a TO4Z would be niiice. Why is the boost level important?
  2. If thats the case you need a brass nipple tapped into the pipe, where are you located? I would just weld a bit of flat to the pipe and tap it 1/8 bspt.
  3. I doubt you could pick the difference in top end, its much better having it more responsive imo. Apparently 300atw just isnt enough anymore, I have a car here with a GT4094 and another coming to fit a gtx4508, both 2j's. Its just madness for the street. lol.
  4. I have a similar issue after long drives in the heat. I was trying to think of ways to cool the fuel down like insulating the fuel rail and lines but I guess the easiest would be to fit a fuel cooler in the return line, if I can find room for it...
  5. Only if you want laaaag, dont they use a 3076 chra? Way too big for the stock housings unless you are shooting for 300kw on 98. I would suggest staying as close to stock sized wheels as possible or you will have to factor in thousands in ecu, engine and gearbox mods.
  6. Why Iain? Two cars have run on the Fcon so far, mine had issues only because the Emanage was also wired in. Even so, the harness would be a good idea for anyone trying to fit an Emanage or any other standalone computer without hacking the loom...
  7. You will need either a new custom dump made or the one you have modified. So you are going from internal gate to external? PM me if you need something made up.
  8. Got to be balanced afterward too...
  9. M35 uses the wheel sensors as the speed trigger for the speedo, not the gearbox output shaft sensor. I doubt the V35 is any different. I bet if you changed diff ratios the speedo would remain accurate, but raising the tyre size will still change it obviously.
  10. Just wind the headlight adjustment down. haha. Its to the right of the steering colum.
  11. I know a few of the guys use Barry at Edge motorworks, Cihan there has tuned a few. What is it you want to have done? What suburb?
  12. Mine is at least twin pass as one end of the top tank was cold and the other hot when I checked, just after the thermostat opened. The other thing to remember, my cooling system now holds twice the water which is another can of worms.
  13. The little wheels wont be helping matters.
  14. Spotted a white series 1 C34 on Pound road Hampton Park, heading west. Had a black bonnet, looked good.
  15. Lol, no the OP cant read... Rules: 1. When starting a new thread, you must include a set price, or at the very least a ballpark figure that you are looking for. EOI's are not permitted, if you want to auction your gear then use e-bay. SAU rules, not mine.
  16. BMW used to leave their 1500hp 1.5L F1 blocks out the back of the factory to rust away for a while before they machined them, apparently it helps take the stresses out from the casting process. I also heard they would take a piss on them any chance they got. I agree, 3L block is the go, rusty or not. Find an old Patrol engine in the desert somewhere and send it to Guilt-Toy.
  17. You cant tune without some method of adjusting the timing and injector pulses, like an emanage or Fcon. Even then you will find on cruise there is little improvement in economy as the stock ecu does a very good job of it anyway. It has to, to pass the emissions test. As far as making it all run as sweet as you can, change the o2 sensor in the exhaust, get your injectors cleaned and flow tested and run a good quality oil and all should be well.
  18. I still find the temps on the big Mishimoto to be around the same as your oem one, I may have to put the low temp thermostat back in once the Fcon is tuned as I really dont like seeing over 100. And lucky you dont have the oil temp sender hooked up Dale, 120 degrees comes up very quick after a squirt even with the oil cooler.
  19. Want to come and do mine, it snapped weeks ago. Lol
  20. Im fairly sure they are 17x8 +30 front and 17x8 +33 rear and designed to clear Brembo's.
  21. I have a small cooler to hook up to mine when I get a chance, any ideas which hose it needs to go into?
  22. They told me another guy does house re-stumping and buys them by the pallet load too. lol. Its been good to me until the high pressure piston seized.
  23. Nil stock at the moment but there are over 500 units awaiting customs inspection, should be in by next week. I got a full refund on my one after 11 months of hammering, not bad.
