  1. A smarter choice would be the VQ25det or VQ35de. Both came with awd from the factory.
  2. You also need the instructions to accurately cut the subframe right?
  3. They probably dont know our car or the V35 but its worth asking. I think you will find the washer at the head end is captive or part of the bolt.
  4. I will grab 2 sets Paul. How sure are you these will fit though?
  5. Sharon wont like being called that Cam...
  6. Haha, get to sleep Dale. When are the rest coming Cam?
  7. I made my own twin walbro bracket. It surges at around 1/4 tank in my Stagea but that is due to the underseat tank mounting more than the pickup design. A surge tank would be the best for track, even a small one may do the job.
  8. Its interesting to me they seem to be bending shafts, is this related to the lightweight shaft materials or just bearing issues they needed to sort out? Bit of a shame really, finally a company trying to supply us modern turbos, with space age materials, and its let down by quality issues. I hope they sorted it this time.
  9. Obviously false info, its running fine at 30psi, as long as its plumbed back...
  10. That's what I am using ATM with the strong spring. Not sure how it will drive on the stock map though.
  11. I learnt the same lesson many years ago in a 62 mini, the thermostat never opened after an engine rebuild and it had no temp gauge. Now I always test them in hot water first. lol. Looks like youre ripping the head off Jon.
  12. They look the goods Roy, what brand are they, and what car is that? The front susp looks just like my Stagea.
  13. And Arthurs seat just up the road, love that hill climb... I will try and make it, may have to bring the kiddies though. lol.
  14. I would get the Tial and weld a stainless bend on it, like the Kando I just did. (check the Kando thread.) Run a 45mm turbosmart with whatever springs you need to run for your desired boost. New V band dump and screamer, youre done.
  15. Still applies. Done right an external will flow a lot more exhaust which means more power. Theoretically a .63 will work great with a large external but better than a .82 im not sure. Remember there is less exhaust going through the turbine with the .63 so the compressor will have less energy to drive it.
  16. Just cut an alloy adapter and tap it with whatever thread you need for the old line. If you need one I can probably copy David's...
  17. Im running the Brembos, they arent bad as road brakes. Are you planning to track it though? What size rims are you planning to run?
  18. I'm trying to talk him into an eflex tune as theres a Caltex with it not far away. Its a big ask of a stock engine though, whats it going to run, between 300 and 350kw?
  19. Thanks guys, I definitely like to design around a good airflow path. Hopefully this works well. If David gets some pics of the inside you will see its ported nicely which was critical if he wants 300+ imo. I hope it pulls the numbers. I wonder if a T67 will fit under my Stagea... Simon, can you measure the front housing for me one day?
  20. Do you have aftermarket swaybars? Coilovers? Start a thread if you like, we may be able to suggest other things for you to look at.
  21. Its 40mm internal, about the same diameter as the nozzle, into a 44mm gate.
  22. Mine's absolutely silent, are you sure its not the BOV leaking or something else?
  23. Artz, just finished hacking up your rear housing. It looks the goods man, hoping for 300kw out of this for you.
  24. Nice result Mick.
