  1. Did you try Street to Track? Thats where I ended up getting mine, he gets bloody good prices from Garrett Aus or ATP in the US. I agree, run the .82 rear. I have the 1.06 and im very pleased with the way it comes on but the .82 is the pick.
  2. It will just pool in the intercooler won't it? I would be spraying at high pressure (at least 200psi) preferably after the BOV.
  3. M10 x 1.5 x 30mm. These are 300mm rotor diameter from the earlier R34 GTR Brembos. Does anyone know if the 324mm disk version uses a larger bolt? The 350z 324mm rear Brembos use M12.
  4. I feel there will be a lot less stress on the rods if you can run e85, even though the torque is increased due to the slower burning properties. More boost, less timing could help too but it's just my opinion, and everyone will tell you a different story. One thing is for sure, the life of the engine will be severely reduced no matter how it's tuned. Make sure you find a good tuner and go with what he suggests. The benefit of the emanage is you can tune off the map sensor once the afm is maxed, much better than guessing the airflow beyond that point.
  5. You should be fine with 12 psi on ethanol but how long for I couldn't say. Are you planning to build the engine? Not sure the box will handle that either, especially with a standalone in there. The soft changes are the only reason mine is still in one piece. What are your plans for it?
  6. I think they are just m10 bolts, I have some here but as said just go to a bolt place with the caliper and ask for high tensile bolts. PM me if you want me to measure them tonight...
  7. It won't have been replaced in Japan, they would be buying a new turbo from Nissan most likely and it would cost more than the car is worth to fit. Any turbo noise and they would ship it off to auction straight away IMO. Just leave a few grand aside just in case, and flush the engine/clean the turbos banjo restrictor as soon as it arrives.
  8. Too familiar, the rears were fine but the fronts were re- kitted, as such they were empty. I think the pistons hold a little air around them perhaps? I didn't let the master cylinder empty at any point...
  9. I got my Brembos on, the caliper had about 10mm of clearance from the 17's. It looks great with the braided lines but these are a pain to bleed, I drove down some corrugated dirt roads to try and get all the air bubbles to the top and re-bled but they still feel spongy. Any ideas?
  10. If you just want to do mad skids, get an xr6t...
  11. Different disk offset I think mate.
  12. It's the perfect size, I agree wolverine it isnt a monster, but it was certainly laggy without the cams working. It drives perfectly now they are, very strong down low and boost builds solidly from 3k, 26 psi by 4k. Not bad for a 1.06 rear.
  13. I have half a HKS turbo kit here, it looks like my V band setup has much better flow, how do they expect the wastegate gasses to flow through that u turn on the adapter mate?
  14. I got my z33 brembo rears fitted yesterday, the bolts were a different pitch, other than that no issue. Should get the r34 brembo fronts fitted today, and the braided stainless lines.
  15. Mine doesn't look too good, only 4 bolt holes work now. Send the cad down and I will try it out on mine Craig. If it works I can sell one to Aaron for shitloads. hahahah.
  16. Stop spamming the emanage thread with your smelly gas talk. Lol
  17. They merge at the 4 inch cat body, not the best flowing setup but more than adequate IMO. The reason for the boost spike is the increased pressure in the exhaust compared to just venting it. Once the controller was setup again the boost level was fine but the tune is still out, especially as the turbo spools. I will try and get a pic today when I remove the front pipe again.
  18. I used a turbosmart 45mm wastegate plumbed in before the turbo, it just dumps excess exhaust gasses to stop the turbo shaft speed from increasing once 26psi is achieved. I have since plumbed the screamer back into the exhaust which made the boost skyrocket to over 40psi, i dropped the controller down but the tune has changed completely, back to the Dyno again...
  19. It also wont do throttle learning if the engine light is up.
  20. I agree, you have a large engine which will easily spin up a GT35 with no lag and over 300kw output. If you went with e85 fuel you could even do it on the stock motor imo. I have managed to fit my GTX3071 under the passenger side header, a GT35 with external gate would just clear also. I have a set of VQ25det manifolds here if you need them, same ones HKS use...
  21. Check the front wheel speed sensors (behind the disk) are in place and follow the wire up to see if it has been unplugged. Also check it's not melting on the extractors? Then make sure the rear ones are ok. If the car is braking then the system is working, just not seeing the proper sensor inputs I would say. Good luck, it sounds annoying.
  22. Its probably the abs sensor or wiring for the front wheels.
  23. Nice, wheres the pics? Who's doing the tune?
  24. Other than the driver letting that car up the outside under braking. Dot 5.1 is ok apparently but dot 5 is silicone based and doesn't mix well.. Cant remember where I read it though.
  25. I doubt it was the machining down there on the bottom, perhaps a casting defect? This was a Hypergear right? What size did he go with it?
