  1. Are you sure the radiator is cracked? The water only has to be half a litre short to show these kind of overheating issues, even 200ml will cause problems.
  2. PM me if you are SE Melb, I can sort you out.
  3. Good write up buddy.
  4. They should, I have the v35 stock 5 spoke 17 inch wheels and they clear no problem.
  5. I can do 4 of them for $50 shipped in stainless. May take a few days to get on to them... Andy is still waiting for his intake. lol.
  6. The short ones look like the 2000's, I haven't seen them before. The 3/4 length one I use but thats on a VQ. What length do you have to play with once you bolt the rail in?
  7. The shift times are only half affected by the valve body, the auto controller is very slow in sending the signal to the VB and sends a ramped voltage, especially to the lock up clutch. Opening the valve body does make it quicker and firmer once the voltage is there and allows more pressure to be run if needed but it wont make the shifts instant when you hit the switch. I don't think mine has that much of a pressure increase from stock as the extra clutches allow sufficient torque transfer at the moment.
  8. I have made quite a few up, it is just a tube, 14mm outer, 12mm inner and 20mm long.
  9. Yeh, pushing over 300kw with my dodgy diy duct.
  10. How can they like the Haltech and HKS p1ggybacks but not the Emanage Ultimate?
  11. My LC1 is still going strong, a year and a half in my daily is pretty good imo. Perhaps they don't like the carbon build-up from rich tuning? Or I may have just bought a good one?
  12. Or piss off the AFM altogether like i'm doing this weekend.
  13. Perhaps 2mm on the banjo, just in case... What worries me is which Haltech you are going to be using... You will be paying for his steep learning curve but I dont think you have much choice. Perhaps you can get some sort of guarantee out of him, so if it doesn't drive properly he wont charge you? It was his call to go with the Haltech after all.
  14. Thats been dropped I would say, I cant see the throttle linkage doing that.
  15. Yep, plug and play as in they supply new plugs. Injectorsonline. I can probably get a better price than they usually give, let me know.
  16. Ryan, the Dolphin intake doesn't replace the lower restrictive part of the intake only the rubber part afaik. I think the stock injectors, suction pipe, cooler etc will allow perhaps 190kw on 98. Any more and there are big changes to be made.
  17. No, there is a fuel controller that gets a signal from the ecu. The wire that went to the stock pump you use to energise a new relay that switches the 14v straight from the battery, (through a fuse of course). That way the car is still controlling the on and off of the pump just not dropping the voltage at idle which is your issue I think.
  18. I think most people on the road would be screwed then... I vote stock cat for the test and highflow for the street. Either way you probably wont pass. lol.
  19. There are aftermarket plumb back bov's you could use, otherwise you may need to run an Emanage Ultimate p1ggiback to stop the stalling. Have you tried putting a grub screw in the bypass hole under the bov?
  20. There's nothing wrong with "real" Walbro's, the fakes gave them a bad name I guess, but that's the way every brand is these days. My twins are quiet and flow massive amounts of e85 right up to 80psi with little effort. For the price they cant be beaten and low current flow makes them easy on your wiring but they definitely need full 14v straight from the battery. Just wire the old power feed up to a 30amp relay that switches the 14v if you haven't already. I used a hose clamp to hold them in place. For the M35 guys Walbro's drop straight in to the stock fuel housing once the tabs on the top are trimmed off.
  21. OK, I READ THE OP JUST FINE MATE... Do you know there is a one way valve in the booster line that wont let boost past, but will allow air to flow back to the engine? If the booster is split it would cause you issue, I thought it was weird it wasn't leaking with pressure but you obviously have a big vac leak. What about the PCV? Good luck with it anyway.
  22. It sounds like the throttle body needs a clean if you are stalling, then a throttle learn procedure. Save for some r32/r33 gtr front brakes, the stock ones are just too thin for such a heavy wagon, don't waste you money on trying to fix the single pot setup. ETC toll device by the looks of it, bin time.
  23. Is the brake booster leaking? Remove all the larger hoses from the equation and plug them, it sounds like a decent leak anyway, cant be too hard to find...
  24. I had Maltech quote a set for me, it came to $700. I decided to go the G35 lines. I havent fitted them yet, should be this week when the Brembos go on. Ironpaw's lines went on fine but they dont just bolt up like the stock ones...
  25. You won't because if they bumped the line pressure up that high in an awd it would break your gearbox internals.
