  1. Here is the TPS. It means you can adjust the idle to some extent and also get more air at startup? And perhaps slightly more throttle position at stall or when driving which will explain the slight differences we are seeing on the Informeter.
  2. Yep, bored and stroked. I pulled the throttle apart just to check, there are two adjustments, one for throttle closed minimum and one for the plate resting position.
  3. TAS? I have a greddy infometer that tells me what the throttle plate is doing. All the M35's take off like ass once you highflow them due to this issue, I also cant stall the auto at launch it just bogs down. Most of the high power Teps cars are 3.5 too arent they?
  4. I shouldn't lend my tools out. lol. Hows the hand?
  5. I can just see the Brembos mate. Looks good, needs coilovers though.
  6. A decent trans brake will turn the RE5 into a manual anyway if you like direct coupling.
  7. Stuff it, im going cable throttle. If they cant be bothered remapping the throttle restriction its useless to me. Can you ask him if 26% throttle at takeoff is acceptable to him? Its bloody dangerous once you go to a highflow although I guess its fine with the stock turbo most of his customers run.
  8. Theres an easy fix, just get Cihan to raise the limit to 7500, it wont bounce off the limiter then.
  9. What I mean is they dont have the initial 26% throttle at takeoff which is the only part that ever annoyed me. I can notice the extra throttle in second though, it seems to have more acceleration than first. It would be great if we could dial the amount of throttle in for each gear, we could tune it for maximum grip on launch then.
  10. I cant seem to find the Teps website, has it disappeared?
  11. I run the Greddy Map sensor for fuelling, I think it takes over at 2psi or there abouts. If they do a hard tune for the stock turbo that will do, it will be more practical and enable an easy sale if I ever want to get rid of it I guess.
  12. Gzone must be fielding a lot of questions from many different people. lol. I have a few avenues to get an ecu flashed by them, what is the benefit of going through you Toshi? Perhaps some sort of swap over system could be organised, im sure more of us would be interested if their car isnt off the road for weeks.
  13. I have a spare ecu and I dont mind being the tester, I can log most data and let people know what changes have been made. I will need an ecu modified fairly soon though, I have a GTX3071 just waiting to put out 600 hp if I can get the throttle to bloody open. How far along are you with negotiation Toshi?
  14. Teps run a similar configuration with the F-con in p1ggyback configuration. I would be very interested as they seem to know what they are talking about. Can you ask them if it will work well with the Emanage Ultimate please? Like I said fuelling wont matter as im running 1000cc injectors and e85, I will let the emanage take care of that. Just a standard remap would do I guess. Can they fiddle with the cam timing also?
  15. I don't think the Z33 has the throttle issue we experience. Gzone are willing to remove it as part of their remap so it is possible, but probably not easy as other remaps don't cater for it.
  16. Not a bad price, I have seen them go for more in Japan. Is someone buying it? We should get all the spare ecu's sent over to Gzone together to minimise postage costs.
  17. Throttle controllers only change the resistance curve of the pedal, it makes the curve more or less sensitive to pedal input. The ECU wont let the throttle open beyond 26% on my car at takeoff, until 30kph or there abouts. That is what I need removed, I don't really care if the plate doesn't go to 100% at wot as it still flows plenty. The other option is to disable limp mode somehow to allow a cable throttle and TPS but that would probably be harder to program. Toshi, if the remap was user programmable I would pay over $1000 but a simple reflash shouldn't cost more than $500 I believe.
  18. Moonlighting as an actor Craig? lol.
  19. Correct, the fuel and timing would be good but I have an Emanage for that. Im interested in a remap of the throttle to connect it to my foot inputs. It seems reflash companies in Japan charge a premium for that so perhaps its difficult to do? What sort of time frame as I need it within a few months Toshi.
  20. Yeh yeh, the price just went up.
  21. TPS isnt required with an aftermarket ecu, it just helps improve the tune. With drive by wire electronic throttles there is a resistor on the pedal telling the ecu what your foot wants it to do, that will do fine as a tps signal if you dont have one StealthX.
  22. Yep, I modded mine trying to mount the Greddy sensors, they leaked through the thread even with sealant. I have a mates one here he may want to get rid of though. PM me for pics if you like.
  23. Neither of us run that dino 98 fuel so the oil is usually a lot cleaner than usual(as are the engine internals), and the Sougi doesnt burn at all from what I have noticed even with multiple dyno runs seeing 110 or 120 degree oil temps. I have always changed mine at 5000 intervals using grade 5 oils only, call me paranoid but I prefer to be sure its at its best especially with the ethanol perhaps breaking it down a bit. I used S15 filters when it was stock, now I need a larger rubber seal so I changed to a bigger M20 x 1.5 one that seats well on the cooler sandwich plate. Ryco have never let me down, unlike the Drift ones.
  24. Nope, there's nothing listed on their site. I had a good search and rang around a few suppliers over here and hit a wall. I can import 3 inch Ti tube from the US, minimum order was 30m, 12k delivered. Getting flat sheet rolled was the other option, but have you seen the price Airport metals wants for a small sheet?
  25. And wing... Rear shot?
