  1. Meh, Penrite missed the boat, and everyone realised its a non issue. Why would you want to run gearbox oil grades in your engine? In winter?
  2. Some people just don't want their car defected, or worse, crushed for some reason...
  3. The 460 will do more than that, should have tried dropping the fuel pressure a little on the dyno.
  4. Hence why I said sealed container. How much water do you think it will suck in through a wall of steel or plastic? I have had none of the issues you have described, actually I have had no issues at all in 5+ years running e85.
  5. I should mention all your V35 rear diff bushes will be flogged by now and leaking silicone grease unless you have had them changed already... Same goes for the compression bushes in the front.
  6. Thanks Alex. Definitely no need for a tuner, you want to get this issue sorted before taking it anywhere for mods. It sounds like you may have a faulty AFM if there is no engine lamp up on the dash.
  7. You have the fuels all backwards, it's the 98 I wouldn't leave for months as it goes stale and detonates. Ethanol has no problem with sitting for a few months in a sealed container or tank.
  8. So you can just use the stock housing for the 2860?
  9. Oh, Damn, it's going to be crazy. Yep, Daz's. It will be here next week for piping mods, due to the height difference with the 30 block. Very interested to see the results once it gets back on the dyno.
  10. What's you location? Pretty sure Hypergear have done a few.
  11. The allies were using what they had handy to eliminate knock, but carrying all that water lowered the aircraft payload, and it only offered 10 minutes of 'wartime emergency power'. The Germans were making synthetic fuels which resisted knock, similar to you just running e85, which is the better option. Unless you could automate a low water/meth level boost drop into the map, and guarantee the system won't surge around corners when low, I doubt any tuner will rely on it for knock protection. (unless you signed a disclaimer or similar.)
  12. Keep the pump intank if you don't want your car defected. Why does your whole fuel system need to be done? I have seen much more power out of the stock lines and tank, and the GTR runs a pretty good tank for track work. Drag you will need something better I think. Otherwise, it's not something you can explain over the internetz, fuel setups need to be setup safely and correctly, find a suitable workshop and ask them to help, or research it fully to come to your own understanding. It may just save your life.
  13. ^^ Voted for the other guy as mandated.
  14. I have an auto 34gtt box here, is that what you want?
  15. And the surge slots sap a little potential from the compressor. GCG. lol.
  16. Is it just the Sunday that is timed?
  17. Fair bit slower though, due to gear changes, and the whole rwd thing is what put me off. Skids and sliding are for Commodore owners. (and Craig) If it were a decent box, like an air shifted hollinger sequential with the awd transfer case spliced behind... Now we are talking.
  18. I have seen 500wkw with the twin 2860's, now the engine is 3L and there are 2863's going on, should be interesting. Don't use the GTX housings, get someone to machine them into the RB26 -5 housings to keep all the piping stock.
  19. Two different cars mate. The first one has stalled from going broke I think. The RE5 is a little different the the RE4 in the 34, and no-one is confident enough to fit the PCS auto controller (around 2K) just to find out there is a reason PCS discontinued releasing the RE5 kit. After driving his car, I realised it is better than any manual I have ever driven. Auto ftw, if only they didn't overheat...
  20. I have an Axis door trim here (looks the same color I think), could be in much better condition than yours if you want me to have a look.
  21. And heights I believe.
  22. Should be ok, the spring isn't as large as the body, which is just a chamber.
  23. My drifteks have had a very hard life so far, road and track. No issues as yet... The missus Audi rims are shite though, leaking from the factory and cracking badly through the lip from careful road driving. I have also cracked oem 350z rims, and seen a few others cracked also.
  24. ^^ Ash at the Sandown barbie on Saturday.
  25. So it's only an issue for 33 owners to worry about you're saying?
