  1. That's the method Whiteline recommend in the instructions. Just be careful not to cut through the alloy.
  2. VV The V series section is that way. You can do the pedal dance and get the codes manually... Do a search in the Stagea or V section.
  3. Whiteline. I have fitted many sets over the years, don't bother with the factory crap. Replacing the factory bush would require you to drop the subframe too, where as the Whiteline ones you only need to drop the diff.
  4. I am able to scan the codes for the box, where are you in Melbourne?
  5. The Aeroflow 400 series is apparently ethanol tolerant too, but I have had some perishing issues recently with the outside sheath. I used copper washers under my bulkhead fittings, I tried teflon washers and they leaked. Alloy washers should work well too.
  6. Ep. Woke me up dammit.
  7. If the hose to the bov is split they will leak, and get worse the more boost you run. Just block them off and run it up again to test it.
  8. Sounds like it's stuffed to me, can't pump at high pressure. Unless the pressure is set too high on your reg?
  9. Through a bucket of what?
  10. That remote throttle switch security button worked great then Birds...
  11. Road toll up from last year I see, those extra speed cameras helping no end...
  12. Nope, the gears inside are like oil pump internals, once something hard and incompressible goes through it wear will occur, then you may as well chuck it away. It's only $100 for a genuine new one... If you buy from the right place of course.
  13. Agreed. The main issue I have with all this is the wait times, I have been a paid up ambulance member all my life, if it took 30 minutes to get an ambulance to me in my one time of need I would be very pissed.
  14. Injectors are high impedance 370cc 14mm top feeds in 3/4 length. Same as the RB25det Neo injector.
  15. Front end improvement via the back straight armco.
  16. I use GJ drivelines for the earls. Motorsport Connection is another a good supplier for Speedflow etc. Even Scotty's Customs usually keep one or two in stock for customers.
  17. Pads and front rotors were from Ivan at x3e motorsports, great guy. No coilovers yet, although the factory ones are a little clunky sometimes, definitely time for a set. I was looking at MCA or Shockworks, but I am yet to do my research. At least the boxes are reasonably priced. I have the 5 spd, but probably need the 6 if the final gear is longer, are they just as strong? I was nearly topping out 5th at Sandown. At Phillip Island I will probably run out of revs. I may look at rebuilding the current box myself if the syncro's are cheap enough...
  18. I have made well over 400kw on factory lines, the only issue was the fuel filter in a few cases. Changing that to a 40 micron stainless mesh filter fixed any flow issues. Worst case just bypass the stock filter on the dyno.
  19. I had a ball, Sandown is a fun track but hard on brakes with 3 big stopping zones. The full floating disks and 800 degree pads could have got me through 20+ laps they were that good. AYC? Not sure, it seemed very stable in the corners with the A048 semi's, never stepped out even on tight corners, and although there was torque steer, it still went the direction I pointed it. Very Go-cart like. 2nd gear was a waste of time, cornering in 3rd seemed fastest without wheelspin. 4th gear syncro's are a little grindy at 7k revs. It's the only gear I have issues with, and only at high revs. Might be getting a bit worn.
  20. I was looking at them, but both MCA and Shockworks are not much more, with Australian support and free revalving. Shockworks is in Dandenong so might hit them up first.
  21. Looking at MCA or Shockworks.
  22. The master cylinder may need to be adjusted for it's home position, but bleeding clutches without the Vac bleeder is very hit and miss from my experience.
  23. PM me once you have some prices, I can usually beat them.
  24. Yes.
  25. Will do, now I know it will take it. Shakedown ran smoothly, glad it was at Sandown as the tow charge would have been cheaper. Evo is a bit of a handful to drive fast, and will only be faster by the next track outing... Coilovers and more boost to come.
