  1. A decent surge tank with the e85 Walbro inside would be hard to beat. Just use the stock pump to feed it. Done.
  2. The standard rad is only 15mm or so, the aftermarket plastic tank rads are 30 odd. They should be more than up to the task, as long as the engine is bled properly. The VQ is a pain to bleed, and losing 1 cup of coolant is enough to overheat the engine. With my coolant mod it becomes much quicker to bleed, and you can still drive the car home after losing 2-3L. (as I found out after the last Sandown track day)
  3. Definitely not, plus the outlet pipe to the radiator is completely different. No idea why you would need another two thermostats either, just another part to fail. My kit uses the heater line to bypass coolant from the block, rather than relying on the one small pipe at the back of the engine. It also replaces the plastic bleed assembly with alloy which is another common failure point.
  4. I am buying in a few brand new Fujitsubo systems atm, do you want a Legalis R?
  5. Except those parts won't fit the M35. Overheating doesn't mean the head gasket is gone in these, so anyone reading this later, check you have properly bled the cooling system, or fit my coolant mod kit before ripping the engine out. Please. It will save you a lot of headaches.
  6. I just finished making one for Beau, If you want a kit, send me a pm, I can send some pictures if you like and explain it's operation Lenny. There are a few options for radiators, plastic tank and alloy, but they are all to suit the V35 and will require a few small modifications to fit.
  7. These seals go very hard and brittle, good call to swap it at the same time.
  8. If your issue is still there after 10 years... I would burn the car. What is it doing? What problem other than top end missfire would make you put those cheap arse coils on your engine?
  9. Considering there is nothing from Bosch in a Google search, and all the hits come back as Alibaba, including one link selling the straddle carrier including said pumps direct from China... I have my doubts. Even if they were genuine, running twin pumps without some way to tell if one is faulty is putting way too much faith in the pump, no matter where it's made.
  10. Third set of disks and pads through them in a week. Will have wholesale pricing in no time.
  11. I'm heading up your way for some stalking later, keep the Jaffle iron hot buddy.
  12. There are some near perfect Chinese copies getting about these days, are you sure they are Bosch? Did you buy them from a reputable seller? I think you are better off with a decent single pump off the surge tank, gear driven if you don't mind the noise. Have you looked at Weldon, Fuelab etc?
  13. Tin foil hat time. Have you driven a new euro sonicz? Dat dsg crack between gears, torque vectoring, most of the cars released these days would munch a modified skyline on the road or track, wet or dry, and can be driven by your grandma once you get bored of thrashing it. Yes they are trying to make cars safe and able to be driven by any retard, which is a good thing when you see the abilities of most drivers these days.
  14. It could still be the plugs if they are fouled, but it almost sounds like you have a wiring issue. Perhaps water where it shouldn't be after the storms? Can you borrow another working AFM to check, just to make sure?
  15. Unfortunately with the V series skylines they forgot the powerz, instead placing them all in the Stagea model for some reason.
  16. Plz... Hamish was running e85 before it became mainstream Birds.
  17. Thanks Ben, I just bought one for the Emo. Looks the goods.
  18. It is unlikely the FPCM will die with no load, and every car has different ecu wiring. My ecu controls it's fpcm down the CAN line for example. I power the relay with the pump power wires on any car I work on, as it works every time. OEM relays are generally very reliable.
  19. Is it an RE5? Install a shift kit, trans cooler and flush the box with Nulon synthetic ATF. Do it now, incase the K's have been fiddled with.
  20. Perhaps a little, but it would be imperceptible. Essentially they are the same, but with a Vband for easy installation, plus the Tial is much lighter cast stainless which makes for easy welding if you weld the external off the housing.
  21. Just about any top feed will fit under the greddy plenum, as long as you have an aftermarket rail kit to suit. Something around 1000cc would do you nicely.
  22. Sorry, I thought he did. The Adaptronic should have the capability, send them an email, they should be able to run you through it.
  23. Everything is electronic these days, some are better than others. Being able to remap the stock ecu is a bonus, that way the throttle curve can be adjusted perfectly. My throttle snaps closed now I have the Fcon, but that puts load on the over-run clutch in the auto.
  24. Who is going to do the tune? I'm pretty sure Trent won't touch the Wolf. Adaptronic have done one, but there were issues. Can you start a thread somewhere to discuss your options in depth?
