  1. The turbo is too big, and the .82 housing is more suited to a 3L engine. A stock RB25 turbo can make that power, and come on by 3k on a 2L. It could make bulk KW if you were willing to rev it to 12k and make use of that amount of airflow. (porting heads, massive cams etc.)
  2. It floods in quicker than the bung can drain it, especially if it's gunked up.
  3. Take the battery tray out and ditch the rubber drain bung under it.
  4. The goal is area under the curve, not over it.
  5. I have only ever flatbed towed the car. I wouldn't want to try due to the preload on the transfer case clutch though I have a feeling the M35 electronic G sensor and Attessa computer is much quicker to respond than the earlier units.
  6. I will take the front shaft and the gearbok. Delivered to Melbourne please.
  7. It does anticipate it in some cases using the G sensor.
  8. The cheap man pays twice... As you just found out. Any Sard injectors will have similar issues, and they get worse the larger they are. I can get new 550cc sidefeeds to suit the 33 that will run fine, but that is the largest they can supply. For anything else you will need to fork out for genuine Nismo's, or swap to a top feed setup which work out around the same price.
  9. Yes, still making them. PM me if you are interested. Not sure on the crank sensor number off hand, sorry.
  10. You will need a new Crank sensor by the sounds of it. At least it's easy to change. They can build up with metal filings etc, cleaning it would be smart, but I would keep the new sensor in the glovebox just in case.
  11. My questions is, if you keep adding Ford parts to your Nissan, at what point does it become a Ford? How do you like the cable throttle anyway? Completely different to drive isn't it.
  12. So do Xspurt. There are many sizes available in the half height, that isn't the issue. The problem is no-one has a drop in top feed solution for the 33 gtst, you need to muck around with fittings, spacers etc. If I can work it out I will be able to offer a guaranteed to fit solution for those who aren't willing or unable to modify parts to fit.
  13. ^This. My wideband showed no change after filling on the new 107. Shame the price went up actually.
  14. Its quite a few hours work, probably $3-500, depending how neat you want it and if you need the shroud cut around the pipe. There is no need to cut holes unless you want to run 400kw+
  15. Just run the cold side up beside the radiator shroud in 2.5 inch and hope you don't get pulled over. At least it can be swapped back to stock that way, and you haven't ruined the chassis.
  16. Is that the best pic you could muster Mark?
  17. Agreed. More boost will still give you more torque, but it will heat the charge air also. Opening up any restrictions will help a little, as may cams etc. HKS Vcam if you can find one perhaps?
  18. It isn't many bolts, but you would need a crane. The engine is too heavy to just lift out. Personally I would unbolt the gearbox first, just to make it easier. If you are doing it on stands you will need to pull both engine and box together.
  19. I always thought a little trap door under the passenger's feet would make life easier. I might get the can opener out...
  20. The airbag circuit can go off even with the battery disconnected, as there is a residual device that powers them even if the battery is damaged. Not something you want to muck around with. I can clear codes on the Consult 3 like I said, but where are you located Gavin? Makes it hard to know if I can help. Otherwise go to nissan, and be ready to bend over.
  21. Get ready for it, it's coming. Have you had the car on the hoist yet, or are you still in denial?
  22. Oh noes, better give up on fans all together. They break when rocks hit them...
  23. All I have been going by is the Proflow and Aeroflow website, they both state 3/4 length injectors are to be used as that is what the kit is to suit. If there are any issues with fitment I need to let them know I guess, but unless someone contacts me I can't help. (without getting a plenum and fitting a kit myself.) If I can get the length of the standoffs to suit the 1/2 length top feeds I can make them on the lathe and include them in the Aeroflow rail kits. It shouldn't be this hard imo, but everything r33 seems to be that little more difficult.
  24. I have a recently rebuilt set of 34 Brembos (front only) here, with DBA4000 series rotors. The callipers could do with a lick of paint but they work perfectly. I only removed them due to fitting 8 pot Ksports.
