  1. Its weird how nothing has been officially announced for aus for the CE edition yet but its in EB's and JB's database. More is supposed to be announced about GT5 at Gamescon which is on between August 18-22...maybe something about CE for other regions will be on the to-announce-list.
  2. Hmm my FAST can't find that, are you sure its right?
  3. Yeah eb have a release date of november 2010 and jb have a release date of december 2010, both on their sites. My cousin went to pre order gt5 at jb and i asked him to check if he could pre order the collectors edition, and he said yeah he could. I might go tomorrow to jb to see if i can pre order it, but i'm not sure since we haven't gotten any info about a collectors edition for australia.
  4. We don't really know for Aus but should be around Nov-Dec.
  5. Rain + the Nurburgring at night is going to be veryyyyyyyyyyy fun
  6. It is a V spec I Your model code is KBN32RBFS_AA B = V spec X = Regular GTR If there is no letter where the underscore is (which there isn't), then its a V spec I. If the underscore were a 7, its a regular GTR, if it were an 8, its a V spec II and if nothing is there, its a V spec I.
  7. Theres also supposed to be a closed door session with Kaz to the media about new information and new features on wednesday which should be about thursday for us. Hoping for more info about online http://www.racesimcentral.com/news/lang/it...dule-of-events/
  8. Finally! Couldn't sleep last night knowing that the press conference was at 5am and by the time I wake up there would hopefully be a release date. The collectors edition looks nice, I'll be getting one of those...now I just need to get a ps3 and a new tv
  9. Apparently, Nismo GTR VINs start with BNR32-100XXX, and regular GTRs start with BNR32-000XXX, and yours starts with a 0. Also, I found a Nismo GTR on SAU and the VIN started with a 1. Also, at the end of the model code, there should be a 'RA' which stands for 'Nismo Group A Limited Edition' but yours says LTZG.
  10. This happened to a friend of mine but he ended up buying a slimline cause ff13 was coming out in a few days. But he wanted me to try and fix his old ps3 so he could get all his saved data off, which worked. To get the saved files that can't be copied away from the hdd, the only way to get around it is to connect your 'fixed' ps3 and a new ps3 together and do a full data transfer (providing your YLOD ps3 is working). Unfortunately you can't just take the hdd out and put it in another ps3 cause it will detect it as a new hdd to be formatted. And yeah I've read that it can come back again, where the 'fix' can last anywhere between a few mins to a few months. The job itself is pretty easy, just gotta remember where all the screws go when putting your ps3 back together. Would probably be better to do that cause then at least it is new.
  11. Hmm I don't think it would be the build number. If I do a generic "R32" search in FAST, I'm able to click that button and it shows me all the models of the R32: The ones we are concerned about are GT-R and GT-R.17, which both of them are there and there are no others saying something like GT-R.1000, for example. So I then looked for a vspec vin number on google, searched it and it says GT-R.17. Then I searched another vspec vin number to make sure and it also says GT-R.17. So basically, I'm pretty sure its just a way to distinguish between a regular GTR and a GTR vspec by using the .17 as a reference to the standard wheels, as I said before. Hope this helps
  12. Gonna take a guess here... All the R32 GTR screenshots I have saved are all non-vspec models except for yours. All the regular GTRs just say "GT-R" in that box. Yours is a vspec and says "GT-R.17". Maybe its referring to the standard 17" wheels as a way of identifying between a regular GTR and a vspec GTR.
  13. JB have the GT5 release date as the 1st of October i think...can't really remember. But yeah they are most probably fake as you said, heres a nice list of the release dates over the years GTP
  14. I tried again but it didn't work. Sometimes this can happen and it can work on other people's FAST programs. Can anyone else try?
  15. My FAST can't find that, are you sure its correct?
