  1. For a NA rb25 the max diameter he should be getting is 2.5 inch or the car would be absolutely guttless down low.
  2. Pulled up next to a clean looking Gun Metal GTST last night at Wetherill Park Maccas in my silver GTS, had a good chat with the bloke about our cars, dont know if hes a fellow SAU member too
  3. Nsw member here, if anyone has any 4 stud rims that they want to get rid of please let me know. I have a 1996 R33 GTS25 s2 They need to be - 18,19 inch - pretty flush to the guards - silver or gold (no chrome) - preferably 5 or 6 star with dish throw me some offers people cheers
  4. I saved up $12 000 from working with my dad for 2 years, to get my r33 Never wanted to take a loan out on my first car, just all money i saved up. Then got full comp insurance with shannons under my dads name with me as a nominated driver and that costs about $1000 a year. Always been a good saver so i don't stuggle keeping up with rego, insurance, petrol, servicing etc etc
  5. Yeah mate im sure it will fix it as long as its good quality, your better off going to a custom exhaust place and telling them you dont want the noise there and they will do it for you, thats exactly what i did and it was the best decision i made.
  6. heres my r33 and another and yes dont think that red P = hoon
  7. That raspy noise you hear is a very common noise heard on all NA skylines, it isnt a problem, its just gotta be replaced with a good exhaust system to get rid of it. Cheap generic cannons make it heaps worse so dont think about one of them!! And for size for an rb20de i would think 2.25 inch should be good.
  8. cheers people, still only work part time so i had to save for it more the fact i had it done stainless steel which made it pricey + didnt wanna go cheapo with a ricer fart can hahaha
  9. Not at all mate, it ended up costing me $2200 as i chose to go with stainless steel (more durable, lasts longer), while the mild steel was priced at $1200 im pretty sure. And that price included the entire system including a new cat plus labour
  10. Nah mate got the resonator, and i got everything i asked for, no drone and that disturbing resonating sound that occurs from 2-3k rpm isnt there
  11. Sorry man, hope insurance doesn't be a bitch to you, I'll keep a look out for you
  12. Hey people, thought i would just share with you my new system Its a stainless steel, mandrel bent system with ceramic headers, 2.5 inch all the way through Here is the link cheers!
  13. my name isnt jeremy but i have a silver r33 with the first three letters of those number plates and im in the Fairfield area
  14. yeah ill come, why not
  15. I did'nt see that man, i thought he was talking about an r32/33/34 thanks for letting me know though
  16. To that bloke who claims to have 185rwkw in his skyline, are you sure your not talking about 185kws from the fly? because thats a ridiculous amount of power for an NA lol. Plus the other day i was just cruising down the street (yes no one around) and this P plater in a commo s ( the model b4 the VE) starts revving it as we approach the red lights, and i was like laughing and as i was in second gear in low revs about to stop the lights went green and i was like oh f**k because the low end range of the commos would kill me so obviously he pulls like a car length on me but when i hit 5k and then 7k then changed to 3rd and kept my foot down, the face the guy had when i flew past him was absolutely priceless!! and btw i have a NA 33 with a straight through exhaust mods only
  17. mine would definately have to be a Ferrari 360 challange, absolute animal of a car. 2nd best would be a 1986 corvette
  18. saw AU-07-** in a silver r34 on his green Ps, with an SAU sticker. Had a little chat with him at the lights about our cars loll No one has spotted me yet
  19. haha Pats at fairfeld but we should have girls with us well you dont need to pick anyone up most likely just an invitation to come to the meet and then come for a cruise with the rest of the cars btw nice picture Hiroshima Screamer hahahaha
  20. Sorry i didn't make myself clear enough, a line up for a year 12 formal is basically a car meet, people bring their cars to show them off and go for a cruise to where the formal takes place. Just asking if you wanted to, you can tag along as i know alot of people here have nice cars. No need to f**king flame me im just asking cheers
  21. Hey boys, If anyone is interested in coming down to a year 12 formal line up later on this year in South-west Sydney. The line up would be around horsley park, bossley park etc. We already have a few S14s and S15s, XY GTs, few ferraris and a few rotaries. If you're interested, could you comment on this thread. Cheers
  22. yeah man i know it seems expensive but since i got it with stainless steel it set me back $1800, but worth every cent
  23. Hey people i finally got my system done, (yes i know lagged heaps haha) but i went to Liverpool exhaust and got a stainless steel 2.5inch straight through exhaust and ceramic extractors car feels so much more responsive now (would like to know the power gains though), sounds unreal. It set me back abit but all worth it if you tell me. cheers
