Looking for a workshop to fit a clutch in my Series 2 - 33. I've done a search and had a look through the workshops list, but am wanting to know experiences people have had with certain workshops... Roughly how much should I expect to pay - and how much is too much? I ruled out doing it myself as I simply dont have the room or time. I'm located in the Northern Suburbs and would prefer somewhere a little closer to home?! Any help is appreciated. Thanks, A

Does anyone know if the Series 1 bars fit onto the series 2?

Guys, I after a GTR Style front bar for a Series 2 R33. I've tried to get one through Carmate but there is a month wait. My car is at the panel beaters and I'm kinda after one asap. I've called up quite a few places but can't get a hold of one. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on one pretty quickly.. Again sorry about the boring topic!

Can anyone recommend a good place to have the hi-flow done in Melb Northern Suburbs? What sort of $$ figure?

I got my old rims powder coated from ADA in Thomastown. I think they mainly do furniture and stuff like that.. but when I rang a few places around the Northern burbs they all recommended ADA. They did a top job on my rim. It costs $90 per rim, that's including sand blasting, acid dip and the powder coat. $70 if the rims are alloy. They took about 5 - 6 working days, but that was between Christmas and Newyears. So they were flat out and understaffed (apparently) Good luck!

I ordered mine through Perfectrun.com - they took 4 working days to arrive in Melb from Japan! Just on 551 smackers delivered. You might get lucky though when ordering and they might have some in stock in Syd office, in that case you might get them couriered next day? Cheers. Hi Guys, I'm from South Morang.. well actually Mernda (nobody seems to know where that is) I drive a white S2 R33 with White 17's. I hardly see any other Skylines around? I drive down to Mill Park and Bundoora a fair bit - I must just miss everybody I used to work at TRUenergy in South Morang on McDonalds road there.. Guys, I had to jump start my car a couple months ago, and ever since my Airbag light has been flashing! I have tried to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery and leaving it for a couple days.. and this hasn't worked. I've tried this twice and nothing. Any suggestions? Any help or ideas would be great! Thanks!

You can get your car engineered at Maztech in Thomastown for $600 if the motor you've put in hasn't been modified yet. For every modification it's an extra $60?! Just make sure the brakes have been upgraded, Computer is standard, Airpod is secure and doesn't move and make sure all the polution stuff is there. You also have to take your car to a weight bridge and they'll give you a print out of the wieght and get an EPA test, and then take the EPA and wieight certificate back to Maztech with all the other things done.. they'll check it - and send out a certificate in the mail. When you first take your car there they'll give it a pre-engineers check and that's about $65. I personally didn't end up getting my car engineered there cause I wasn't too happy with the service they provided.. twice my car was booked in and I left my car there for a full day and nothing was looked at. So decided never to take it back. I think if you ring most performace places you'll find they will do it - they just ring up engineers to come in and do it. Hope this has helped.

Yeh maybe so - but it's not that bad that I can even feel the difference - still pulls the same through the gear changes, maybe cause it's not boosted there isn't that much pressure to get out? I dunno feels the same to me

Well last night I did what sky-rkt said and took off the bov and just placed an alluminium cut out over the hole and then put the bov back over the top and screwed it all back together, and now... It flutters! : ) It hasn't effected the way the car drives at all! Still boosts the same, revs the same! everythings the same - just a nice flutter now - that's all! Cheers

Well considering my motor is stock... and running stock boost, I'm not really all that overly concerned about stuffing the turbo.. for now - I'll be very content with the 'cool' sound! Cheers

Hmm.. so do I remove the stock bov - by undoing those two bolts? then take that off and put a steel cut out in it's position? Is that right?? I've never removed the standard bov before - so don't really know what to expect! Cheers

How do I remove the blow-off ?? Instructions please?? Will it make the car run any different ?? Cheers guys
