  1. Are you after sealed or ported? how much space are you willing to lose? because if you want "reasonable amount of undistorted bass" your going to need to tune the box which Sapphire would be able to tell you all about
  2. Id suggest just getting a 900watt RMS (stated) or higher Kenwood mono D amp. Assuming thats a DVC/2ohm sub. They are cheap and dont sound too bad and will put out about 400RMS at 60hz at 2Ohm stable which is probably more than a sony "1500" could handle. But in all honesty sony dont really make high power subs so any $250 amp is likely to max it out
  3. Algae can build up and come lose and get stuck in the pump also
  4. Take out a few relays maybe. would slow them down a bit
  5. To make it bright for Braking and normal/dim not braking. Wire the tail light and brake light to the LEDs. Put an extra resistor (you'll have to determine how big yourself) and a Diode in series on the tail lighy wire and just a diode on the brake wire.
  6. if price wasnt a factor you would rather an impreza over a lambo?
  7. check for latest drivers directly on the nvidia or ati etc website, vendor websites are often not upto date. If you already have the latest driver id suggest getting drivers from a couple revisions ago. Another alternative is if its only happening when on the net try using a different browser until a new version of flash is out. Due to that vulnerability recently I assume the release of 10.1 was rushed
  8. Anything you have done in the bios will stay the same.
  9. How big is the brightness difference? Can you test voltage and resistance at each headlight?
  10. deadening and sealing the doors is probably one of the most effective areas. That and the boot are the first areas most people address. I find the firewall is the main source of annoying noises to me after the doors
  11. You get a freakin medal
  12. Microsoft said the new xbox's will cost the same amount as the old ones. I havent been paying attention to their price but I could have sworn the old ones were slightly cheaper than that, like packages for 399. Keep an eye out cause there may be end of financial sales around now. For what it is though 449 is pretty good
  13. Have you checked the starter motor and its power connection?
  14. Eucalyptus spray or Vics vapor rub may work, don't know what that will do to the paint though
  15. Best idea is to get a cat trap catch the prick and take it to the pound. Else you can get cheap solar powered sensor flood lights. direct it at your bonnet and maybe that would scare it off when it goes off.
  16. If aerial goes up when head-unit is not on radio its wired wrong. like PUDZ 32R said fix the blue wire
  17. if you wanted to be really cheap you can set the individual torrent upload speed to 0, that would work.... atleast the versions last yr and earlier duno bout now. Also those that have bad download prices may benefit having number of connections lower to reduce the overhead that goes into requesting a slot from 100 different people non stop. Paying for a Usenet account is defiantly a worth while alternative
  18. utorrent, set my upload to 7kb and uncapped dl. Usually get over 500KBs. any less that 7k and your down speed is capped. utorrent usually uses least memory and cpu than all the other programs ive tried
  19. I think one of the game shops like EB Games had them for $2 recently. You can get them online for around $5 delivered. depends what quality and version
  20. Im not familiar with that cars setup but reverse camera's can be bought just about anywhere these days. If your car has a AV input you could connect that to its screen or another solution is one of the rear view mirrors with a built in screen, would only turn on when you put your car in reverse so would be a bit of an automated system. A quick read of your manual should show some of your options.
  21. Some of them pics are freakin MINT. Id certainly like to see them comin
  22. Red would need to go to an always on 12v line so you could connect it to the same wire running your stereo. Orange you can connect to cigarette lighter as it should only have power when accessory is on, which is close enough to ignition. Ground can go to any ground wire or a good metal surface. White can connect to illumination wire in the stereo wires or the 3rd wire going to cigarette socket for its lightbulb.
  23. That price seems rather high for a N/A especially since the K's aren't that low. I assume it came with 17 Alloys originally and the seller omitted that they were changed to aftermarket. "The GT-V makes use of the exact same suspension setup as the GTT, has the same brakes (4 pot front / 2 pot rear), and the same 17 x 7.5 (offset +40) alloys with 225/45/ZR17 tyres." "Nissan released a special edition of the GT series - the R34 GT-V. The GT-V is essentially a full GTT chassis - including the uprated brakes, suspension, HICAS, LSD, strutt bars etc but without the turbo (RB25DE instead of the RB25DET). Still with the Neo straight engine, and VVT, the GT-V's put out 200PS in standard form, a great improvement over my previous R33 GTS's 130PS." http://www11.ocn.ne.jp/~skyworks/gtv_specs.html
  24. Does anybody know how these redlight cameras work? For example I go through a orange light and it turns red half way through, At what point will Camera go off? 1Sec after red? Any car less than halfway through?
  25. Are you trying to start it on a known good battery? If you run the starter outside the car it wont be under load so may seem fine. I'd double check its not the battery before you pull ya hair out
