  1. Im only new to turbos and shit, my gauge was reading 20psi on dyno and the dyno said 12 psi
  2. Look through the forsale thread. I have heard you can get them new. and from memory the price wasnt too rude. If you end up wanting to make one i can get you the specs as i have 1 sitting in the shed.
  3. I considered making my own resistor pack ( being an auto elec), but for like $100 its easyer to just buy one. Im unsure what sort of Power(watts) they consume and have never felt a GTR pack after a thrashing to see weather they get hot. To make one that can supply 6 injectors, and not generate heat, also keeping the overall size as small as possible might not be easy. If you use formula P=IxV you can work out what sort of Wattage resistor you need to decipate the heat, providing you have the voltage and current. say on average it would be 13v, but i have no idea what current will be flowing. Then get someone to measure the resistance of the resistors in a GTR pack and you will find out what resistors you need. If that makes sence? But hey give it ago if you want.
  4. RB25 turbo, expect 180-190ish kw at 12-14psi VG30 turbo is around the same i think? RB25 hiflow. will easyly crack 200. Keep in mind you need supporting mods to get these figures.
  5. On a stock ECU you will need the resistor pack. I believe with a NISTUNE you also need a resistor pack. My mates RB20 had gtr injectors running of a nistune and that had a resistor pack. Unless you can get it setup for low impedence
  6. hmm i have a stainless front pipe. all gaskets and studs are new.
  7. O2 sensor pretty much is the feedback for the ecu to tell it how the mixtures are going. So if its running rich the computer will sence it via the O2 sensor and then its next Mixture will be corrected. Same goes if its lean. Only way to check them is while they are on the car with a oscilliscope, should have a fairly even rounded sine wave at idle going both positive and negative over the centreline. Once the revs are increased the sinewave will get much closer together. I ran no oxygen sensor on the dyno and was getting 10:1 AFR. i am now running one and im hoping next time on the dyno to have a better mixture.
  8. I may have been told bullshit. But my mate was working on a 33 with 385kw at the rears. was running 25psi, threw 2 conrods through the block the size of a fist, tore the engine mounts aswell. Cant remember details, but was fairly hardcore., high mount, ase plenum, EMS stinger, coils, Injectors and the shit. Internally stock apart from cams.
  9. My turbo has a loud scream too. Its a hiflowed 25 turbo on a RB20, Spools around 2700rpm. then at 4000rpm it hits boost real hard and squeals real bad. 18psi of boost. No shaft play. Will a leak in the cooler piping show up on a boost gauge? or becasue the leak is consistant it will not vary the gauge?
  10. Hey, Ive recently purchased a R34 to wreck and want to put the RB25 gearbox into my R31 as my RB20 has stripped 2nd gear and Reverse. I have recently installed a 6 puck brass button clutch and want to stay with the push style clutch rather then getting another clutch. Whats envolved in the conversion? I have seen a link that DSTROY posted. it was help full. But surely there is a easyier way? Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers Dan
  11. You need to get a custom tailshaft made. you need the 33 gearbox yoke aswell. Use a Auto cross member and redrill 2 holes
  12. Is yours push style being converted to pull style? or.. Pull being converted to push
  13. Ohh so it might be a simple conversion? Id need a GTST fork and pivot point, then make a bracket to mount the master cylinder on. Any links to further information? Cheers man
  14. its on the crushing pile. Sorry! also got lifted with the fork through the windscreen, and because the roof was so weak it tore off. Manual gearbox will be for sale now as i need a push style box not pull style. Will sell box with flywheel clutch cross member and slave cylinder Get in touch via PM if your intrested in buying the box or trading a push style box for it.

  16. The shell is badly burnt. not worth re using, will be scrapped. The box is going behind my RB20 in my r31. The motor has had the engine cover melted. yet to look under it. will be a good head, cams and block. so perfect if some blows a neo up and needs a short motor, or has a heavily modified one and wants to just bolt their aftermarket items on
  17. Between $1000 and $1500. Yea that sounds stupid just say actual cost but id rather not. but its between those figures. As for the PM i got regarding the Neo turbo, i dont have 10 psosts and cant reply. I have removed it, has minimal shaft play and all feels good, when i inspected the impeller it looks like 1 of the blades is slightly distorted, i will look again, and possibally send it off to be checked by a specialist and or have a new impeller put on it. Looking around $450 has actuator and elbow.

  19. Hey Guys and Girls, Just recently purchased a R34 4 door from auction in Adelaide. Just curious if the previous owner is on here, as i wouldnt mind some details on the car. Description. Silver R34 4 Door Heavyly burnt. Front to rear RB25 neo, 5 Speed 17x8 and 17x9 AVS wheels 3 or possibly 3.5inch stainless catback. The rest of the car is pretty well stock. Anyone know of the owner? or if your on here, would be great to have a talk with ya. Cheers Dan
  20. Hey. RB20 in my R31 wagon Greddy 600x450x76 cooler RB25 hiflow Turbo Bosch 040 pump Apexi pod 3inch Exhaust With Hi Flow Cat Bleed valve additional shit to consider.. Stock injectors. 10:1 AFR No oxygen sensor. Timing 10 degrees out. 160.34kw @ 12psi 10:1 AFR.

  23. Hey people, Im new to this forum. Quite intrested in R31 skyline. I own a R31 wagon, has 17'z custom aurora suspension, import projectors, cut TI grill, flip lip, full silo interior ( retrim rear seat), dvd player, rb30, with extractors lots of other shit i dont remember. Im only 16 took 3 days of driving to get defected for bein too low, ive had it defected 3 times for Regency so far in about 4-5 months. keep getting it passed, i now have a rb20 motor to chuck in with sum mods hoping for 200kw. i am also currently put a VH45 nissan V8 into a MQ Patrol, its also on a GQ chassis with coils, and all the whoo harr!! Then i also have a Black Gq Patrol shorty cut into a ute, gutted, caged, rb30, 33'z, 3 inchs of lift. radiator in the back, full boonger spec for great for stuffing about in and jumping!! anyways hope to meet a few people in Adelaide.
