Pretty sure the r33 non turbo's use an r32 turbo gearbox... And no one can put an expiry date on a gear box. If your redlining the car, i would be more worried about the motor than the gear box.

I reckon the best p plater skyline for you to get would be a r32 non turbo rolling shell and put an r33 rb25 in it. Would be legal and quite a fast p plate car. Could get it for a few grand also, can get a 25de for under a grand and a shell for 2-3k?

I think they usually use some roller stick thing that's 100mm in diameter, they wheel it under your car and if it hits anything thats how they prove it. My source is boostlosing though so may or may not be true.

You have to unlock the Nurburgring, theres even an achievement if you beat the 7min 38s that the r35 did. + Theres a tutorial on how to do the whole track section by section.. havn't tried that bit yet.

Oil +Filter change on the pintara, fixed the hand brake and installed a new pod filter on the beastly ca20e Ready for a roadworthy i think O and drifteks dont fit on it worth a try i thought

Anyone know if a Pintara wagon uses the same handbrake cables as a skyline wagon? Need to track down a cable for the left hand side.

For sale is a Diff out of an r33 bought it a few months back but have no use for it anymore, it came out of a manual so the ratio is 4.11:1. Im not sure on how tight it is, but shims hardly cost anything anyway. Its worth doing just for better wheel choice imo... dont think you will snap the studs off if it's just a stock turbo.
